The location is very strategic. Not far from Concubine Lane, Birch Clock Tower, Kinta Riverside, and other heritage areas. On the ground floor there is a 24-hour 7-Eleven minimarket. I got a room with a beautiful view, overlooking Padang Ipoh. You can see the mountains and heritage buildings. I booked 3 Premiere Triple rooms. The room was quite spacious and clean. What I liked most was that they provided a hot/medium/cold water dispenser on each floor, so we were free to drink as much water as we wanted, no need to buy mineral water anymore. What bothered me a little was that during the check-in process, the FO staff seemed unenthusiastic and took a long time to process the check-in. Even though my group and I were also tired from the air and land travel. She seemed to have difficulty calculating the total tourist tax and Ipoh tax for 3 rooms, 2 nights that I had to pay, until I helped correct it because she added the wrong amount. It turned out, when checking out, I was still charged RM 30.00 for tourist tax. I was shocked. After recalculating, it turned out that the staff who checked me in had miscalculated, so I had to add an extra RM 30.00. This delayed check-out. Hopefully, in the future, the front desk staff will be more careful, especially when calculating, so as not to delay the check-in and check-out process. Other than that, everything was very good. The security staff at the door were also very friendly and always greeted me. Thank you.

Close to everything at a reasonable price

Clean and comfortable hotel with a very good location. Easy to walk to food places and tourist spots. Staff were friendly and helpful. Good value for money.

would have appreciated being able to pay the hotel tax via card but otherwise the stay was decent and value-for-money.

The facility is near to town and has a nice ambience. Next to the Kinta River and Padang Ipoh, it provides a one-of-a-kind view for your stay in Ipoh. The room is nice and clean. There are parking spaces provided at the building, but very limited. And they do offer an alternative parking area at another spot, with free shuttle services provided from the parking area to the hotel.

Overall, everything is very good!! Thanks for making my holiday in Ipoh wonderful, and I really had a good rest.

Okay, but the packing has to be done somewhere else... but there's a van that will take you to the hotel.

The hotel was great, clean room. But I mistakenly booked three paid nights and wanted a refund which they didn’t allow even after multiple requests. This was very disappointing and I had to spend three nights there only due to this.

Overall, I really liked the hotel — it was comfortable and conveniently located. However, there were a couple of issues: the air conditioner wasn’t working properly, so it felt a bit hot in the room. Also, the TV didn’t work — it wouldn’t turn on at all. 😭

The staff are great. The security personnel are very good.

1) Right in the middle of Ipoh city. 2) The hotel room is quite small but has been renovated, it's beautiful. 3) The main problem is limited parking. 4) The area around the hotel has been renovated well. 5) The breakfast is really worth the price, food and ambience and outside view. 6) The shower has very powerful water pressure. 6) The swimming pool is great.

If you are booking a room at this hotel, bear in mind that you might be booking a non-renovated room. So double check before booking. The bedsheets and pillowcase were stained, but it did not bother me. Also, please give us customers better pillows. I had a neck pain after that. The rest was fine. Breakfast was okay. Lots of choice. Gonna stay here again.

First thing first, I've got early check in by 30 minutes at 14.30. That was really helpful for us, because we have been so tired cause of the hot weather. Ipoh was extremely hot at that time. So yeah, we're so happy we could check in already. But unfortunately our sink was clogged, so we need to call the engineer and we waited for them to come quite long around 30 minutes so we can't rest ahead. But overall the hotel was clean the room have enough space for 3 people, one thing we think need to improve was the rack. We need more space to store our things. And sometimes the bathroom smell not good from the water drain.

Overall the room is okay.. The only thing that's not okay is the parking.. The basement parking is limited.. If it's full, you have to park across the street.. If you want to cross the road.. For those with families or children, it's also dangerous because you have to cross a big road.. Because if you want to drop off and then turn around, the parking lot is also far away...

Dinner at Padang Terrace was good. The view is nice as well. The buffet breakfast choice was decent. Personally, would not go again for the buffet breakfast.

Hotel is very nice. Easy access to Ipoh sentral area.

The rooms are very good, close to the city area. Next time I go to Ipoh, I will come back to this hotel.
