Arrived at the hotel around 8:30 pm. It took over an hour to get correct instructions to park the vehicle offsite at a public parking garage. They have less than limited parking as advertised. The hotel has 200 rooms and less than 20 onsite spots. The hotel has a restaurant! Upon arrival we learned it was closed. It was open for a bus load of tourists and that’s it. We headed out to find a restaurant nearby but came up empty. The kitchens were all closed so we went to bed hungry. The rooms do not have AC another frustration that resulted in this hotel experience being absolutely abysmal

Staff was very kind and helpful. Complimentary breakfast was amazing. The room was a little small, but the price wasn't outrageous. The location was close to downtown shopping and public transportation. Reduced-price parking was nice, but spots were taken pretty quickly, depending on the time of day. Overall, I will recommend it to others.

I come every year on business and I always come back to the Elite Mimer. I travel a lot as part of my job, but I get hands down the best sleep here. Mattresses you sink into, excellent showers and full length baths to soak weary bones. The restaurant is incredible too- cannot recommend highly enough!

Where to start.... We were given a room in the basement where only a small window, could not be opened. The worst thing was the bed, which was just a closet bed, with an incredibly thin mattress. As this was one of the most expensive hotels in the city, one expects a proper bed, after 8 hours drive. Got no understanding or option for upgrade from hotel reception, lousy service, then called Hotels.com who are always helpful, they arranged with upgrade and a small compensate. The new room had at least a good bed, but also here it was not possible to open the window and there was no air in the room, nor was it possible to adjust the temperature, so it turned out to be a really bad experience. It looked like the upgraded room we got, was from someone else who had complained, because the toilet was used. We had booked a standard double room, got one which was more like economy room. With my e 70+ nights a year, I highly recommend not booking this hotel, my worst experience in many years.

New and clean. But a bit too cold. Thermostat Can’t be adjusted to higher.

Greit nok. Dårlig luft på rommet. Absolutt ingen utsikt. Et slags «dobbelt» vindussystem med logopressening. Dårlig rengjøring på badet. «Bæsjrester i doen og makeuprester i vasken, som lett kunne vært fjernet! Skittent/brukt sengetøy, handduker lå slengt langs veggen i korridoren. Ikke restaurant/bar. Middels bra frokost. Gode parkeringsmuligheter og beliggenhet, men blir ikke valgt igjen! Prismessig ikke på noen måte grei i forhold til andre hotell i Umeå som er en nydelig by og et yndet feriemål!

Fint og rent hotell, hjelpsomme og hyggelige personalet, 3- 5 min gå avstand fra sentrum.

Frukostmatsalen lite trång med så mycket gäster som denna gång. Önskar lite mer brödsorter och lite mer frukt. Det var fin bacon. Bra annars också. Önskar i juli ett rum med AC, men ok, det finns inte alls många centrala hotell i Umeå som har det. Öppningsbart fönster gärna. En bar hade varit trevligt. Men det är kanske ett medvetet val från hotellet. På rummet inget att klaga på utöver en trasig toapappershållare. Tydligare skyltning av utrymningsvägar, det är ett stort hus. Centralt läge var det och absolut prisvärt.

Fin frukost. Städning kunde varit bättre och framför allt badrummet. De så kallade kuddarna var under all kritik.
