Room was clean but no coffee. Internet didn’t work. I didn’t appreciate the receptionist laughing at me when I was checking in because I didn’t have a credit card - I paid for the room in advance so was not told on Expedia that I needed a credit card. The receptionist laughed at me. I am on a pension and am disabled so don’t use a credit card to keep my finances from going out of control. Being laughed at was humiliating and ruined my weekend.

The King room that we occupied was very nicely decorated and well stocked with shampoo etc. There were two things we were disappointed with: the bed was way too soft and there were no instructions on how to pirate the TV that had two remotes. We gave up trying to figure that out.

Room was clean but small. Fridge was tiny. Front desk staff are not there 24/7. Front lobby is very tiny. No extra amenities. Double beds are not a double, they seemed smaller.

Very basic hotel. There was never anyone at the front desk. Coming and going, I never saw a staff member at the front desk except when I rang the bell when I checked in. Pillows on the bed were so deflated, so I asked housekeeping for an extra pillow or 2. After being told they would replace the pillows on day 2 of my 7 night stay, the pillows were never replaced or offered an extra. I ended up taking a pillow from a sofa in the lobby. During my 7 night stay, housekeeping only attended my room once?? I was also disappointed to find several big red ants in my room. Hotel was very quiet which I appreciated with several restaurants and convenient store nearby.

This hotel is in a state of disrepair. The outside is dilapidated… roofing shingles laying on the ground; downspouts broken. In the bathroom the shower didn’t work & the bath tub was dirty. The towels were threadbare. The hair dryer didn’t work and the bathroom fan was deafening. The bedside clock radio was permanently on and could not be silenced. The curtains had holes in them. The pillows & bed linens were completely worn out. Pitiful even for a low cost motel in the middle of prairie nowhere.

A clean and comfortable hotel, however, the staff were unusually focused on pointing out the rules on check-in. A $10 charge for entry cards not returned, emphasis on the penalties for causing damage. And a message on the 3rd floor kitchen door written in poor English.

Lots of parking, and very clean. Good mattress and pillows. However, no coffee in the room (there is an A&W next door, though) The property is worn, but it was still a comfortable stay

I needed a quiet getaway. The Wilshire was perfect.
