Location great and a decent car park staff were very helpful and friendly

The hotel is outdated and in a very poor state of decor. Paintwork old and flaking,windows filthy, carpet not even hoovered, superior double costing over £200 was appalling. Two single beds shoved together and not even joined, sink plug stuck in down position, had to lift out to get it to drain, sink cracked, toilet seat loose, bathroom flooring cracked...and so on. Breakfast booked but nothing available, kept having to wait for items to be fetched and cooked, staff very slow indeed. Overall worst hotel we have stayed in for that amount of money (and several other guests said exactly same at reception when checking out). Would NOT recommend this hotel.

Lovely stay at the hotel.

Disappointed with overall stay. Decor is peeling and unmaintained, including furniture, doors and wallpaper. TV doesn't allow Netflix or Disney Plus and just has basic channels. Shower wasn't clean and water goes all over the bathroom. No anti bac soap to wash hands with.

Great location , ticked all the boxes for our 2 day stay in Lincoln with plenty of parking .

Great location for the cathedral and castle. Very helpful staff at reception and the bar area.

In a central location close to the Cathedral and Castle. The bedroom was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with a full choice served conveniently early from 7. Our stay was adversely affected by the inadequate plumbing. The WC didn’t flush properly and the temperature control was faulty- set too hot to use. The air conditioning system didn’t work. Reported to staff without any discernible effect.

Think the rooms could do with up dating apart from that it was good

Very friendly helpful staff, excellent location and lovely views of the Cathedral. Our room was clean and bed was comfortable but a view general maintenance jobs made it look a little tired. Edge of windowsill had fallen off and the surface of the bath had seen better days. Coupled with worn furniture and a balcony which needed a good clean lowered the quality of what could have been a five Star stay.

Stayed here for 1 night in a triple room. Even though the room is ready for a bit of a refresh it was very clean and very comfortable. The hotel has nice areas for for a drink or something to eat or just to relax. The staff are very friendly and make you feel welcome. The breakfast was amazing.

Good all round excellent location

Good location, fairly large car park,for which you are charged £7 a night ,(which i don't agree with) the breakfast is good, and plenty of choice, the general feel of the hotel is a little tired, which is a shame. rooms ok but feel a bit neglected, but clean enough, would use again if staying in Lincoln

The staff at the hotel are wonderful and are always welcome to great you. The breakfast is lovely and plenty of choice. The evening meal I had with them was okay, starter and sweet were fine, main course was a little bit dry and I told them about a so they refunded me on that item. Ithink they have only one kitchen catering to all and they were also catering to a large wedding party that night, No problem,I got my bill adjusted accordingly. Lovely hotel with wonderful views of the Cathedral, just needs an update on the rooms to bring them to pine furniture and tubular steel furniture, painting around winerssill and a clean windows policy from a good external window cleaners and you are ready to go into inviting long term guests 3 or 4 days stay who would love to look around Lincoln and all its historical background.

The decor and furnishings were quite poor, broken light fitting, cracked bath panel, damp patch on ceiling, just generally quite poor and in need of maintenance.

We always stay at the Lincoln hotel when visiting Lincoln. Staff are always helpful and attentive. Location of hotel is excellent, having breakfast whilst looking out on the beautiful Lincoln Cathedral. Good on site parking (there is a charge), very close to the Bail, Lincoln Castle, Cathedral (dating back to 1072). Had evening meal there, food was very good and prices good to. Would highly recommend a stay here

Excellent central location with parking. Clean, comfortable room, mine had a balcony with a part view of the Cathedral. Good breakfast. Perfect for an overnight stay in Lincoln.

The hotel is in a great location for exploring Lincoln, was good value and our room was clean and had everything we needed. Generally the hotel was looking a little tired and the restaurant looked rather soulless so we opted to eat elsewhere.

I was a bit worried about staying here having read some 'iffy' reviews, but I needn't of. For being a 3 star hotel I thought it was great. Location was perfect, breakfast was good, lovely choice of food. Our room was good and overlooked the cathedral. The bed was very hard so we asked for a mattress topper which they put on for us. It didn't make difference and we still had 3 nights of not sleeping through the night and waking up in pain!! Could also have done with a hairdryer on the room, but requested one and it came really quickly. The lady on reception who checked us in was fabulous and no complaints with any other member of staff. All in all it was a great stay and we would definitely stay again.
