1. hygiene: my son has a bad allergy reaction due to a dusty air-con or bed. either one, he was healthy when going outside from the hotel and always has a bad cough when the air con is on inside the room. i have experienced a congested nose as well every time the air con is on. 2. hospitality: from such a 4-stars “claimed” hotel, staff mostly not friendly, especially customer service/receptionist below. once i asked to send housekeeping to clean up the trash can and they told me to put the trash can outside my room instead of sending their staff. secondly, my nanny left her card inside the room & my husband called the receptionist to help with the room access, again they told my husband to come down and take it by himself instead! lastly, what has made me very upset is when i already landed in jakarta and realized that my son's favorite blue manta plush toys from the oceanarium were left in the hotel room, i called them to check. again, the staff answered very rudely in a rushed manner saying they had checked and found nothing, after the second call i made & i clearly in an upset tone, she turned her voice in a better manner. if you don’t have a good service attitude and expect all guests to do self-service, then don’t be in the hospitality business. shame on you. i will not come back to this hotel again.
