The hotel is comfortable and the staff is friendly

The long wait for the promised room to be ready in 10 minutes ended up being over half an hour without being called. The tile on the room's floor was falling apart, and towels and toiletries had to be requested and then delivered by phone. I didn't pay attention to the rest because I was tired, just wanted to rest.

The room was clean, the facilities were good. I stayed in a room with a view of the airport runway and the ocean, which was absolutely beautiful.

I've stayed at Tjokro more than four times, but this time I was disappointed. Hopefully, it will improve in the future. I arrived at 4 a.m. to check in right away, but it wasn't available. The water was off, and when I checked in, there was sand and dust in the room. The restaurant was full at breakfast, and many guests brought children, but the staff didn't help. This hotel is a favorite for vacations because you can see the planes and it has a child-friendly pool. Hopefully, it will improve in the future during peak season.

A regular hotel when staying in Balikpapan, especially with the addition of children's play facilities, you will love it even more, highly recommended for those with families.

Maybe because we stayed during the holiday season, the water was off several times, cleanliness was lacking, the pillows were yellow and smelly, the wifi was slow but the breakfast menu was delicious with lots of variety.

The hotel staff is friendly, if you want to go to the beach it's also close by taking the Maxim

Staying at Tjokro, with all its amenities, is always our best choice for being closer to the airport. The pick-up and drop-off service also makes getting around easy. Thank you, Tjokro.

Not impressed with room 202 - AC wasn't working properly. Paid extra for a premium room, but the AC was basically a glorified fan 😒. Ruined our Christmas holiday with the kids - couldn't sleep at night. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Tech checked it and said the setting is right, no issues with the AC... so what's going on? Might've been better off staying at home with the fam. Also, don't sell rooms if they're under maintenance 🙅‍♂️.

The room key error required me to go back and forth between reception and my room. The key shouldn't have been an error because I booked for two days. The room facilities were outdated.

Clean room, will come again later

During my stay at Grand Tjokro Balikpapan, the children were very happy to be able to bathe in the clean pool and the staff provided good service. As a parent, I was also able to exercise at the gym while monitoring my children more easily because the gym is close to the children's play area.

The room was clean, and comfortable. Unfortunately, the TV on my room is broken, apart from that, everything is good.

One of the best hotels and the food here is really delicious. Thank you for your service.
