Clean room. Clean bathroom. I was able to check in early at 1 am because the room was already available and check out late at 12:30 pm because I just came back from Bromo. I couldn't have buffet breakfast because I was going to Bromo, but at this hotel, you can pack your lunch or lunch box. Thank you to the receptionist who has given me many conveniences. Early check in, late check out, and lunch box. I highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel is nice, although small. The room is comfortable, and the hot water works well. The only thing missing is the missing faucet for ablution, so it's a bit tricky to do it from the shower or sink. I like the food here; it's delicious. The staff are also friendly. The room is cleaned daily. If I ever go to Malang again, I'll stay here again.

Everything is good, the service is also okay, the location is also strategic, but room 101 in the corner doesn't have wifi, the TV in the room is also difficult to turn on/off.. the breakfast is delicious

very helpful for us who came from Makassar

At the first glance, we thought the hotel would be worse than our rented villa in Batu because the entrance was so narrow beside the Korean resto. Out assumption was totally wrong. We arrived earlier around 12 pm and got 10% fee charge. That was ok... at least we got a very clean family room with 2 bathrooms. In the morning, they served us buffet breakfast and it was an excellent service! Very delicious foods! I love the coffee as well. The best hotel ever in Malang!!!

My 3-day, 2-night stay here was enjoyable. The hotel staff was friendly, the room and location were clean, the room was cleaned daily, and there was free mineral water provided daily. The restaurant had delicious and varied food. The location was close to food stalls, coffee shops, and restaurants. It was quiet, comfortable, delicious, and satisfying. The price I booked two weeks prior was 200,000 IDR more expensive than the price on my check-in date. My family and I stayed here for 3 nights. DISAPPOINTED. The parking area is very small, only enough for 6 cars, with the rest parked in front of other people's shophouses on the side of the road. Breakfast doesn't open until 7 AM, while other hotels usually open at 6 AM. We ended up skipping breakfast one day because we had to go to campus for our child's graduation ceremony at Brawijaya University. Upon check-in, it turned out the sheets weren't fresh; they smelled unpleasant from the previous guest. Luckily, I immediately asked for all the sheets in my and my child's rooms (2 rooms) to be changed. However, the rooms are not the same standard; one has a refrigerator, the other doesn't. The bathroom is cramped, the staff is unfriendly, and the security guard/parking attendant isn't always on standby.

Room was quite clean, just need better swop and mop, the bathroom is too small, overall was ok, food was quite nice with few choices

I initially underestimated it, but despite being a boutique hotel, the room was nice and clean, with a king-size bed that comfortably accommodated three people, including a small child. Breakfast was also free for children, as my son is only 5 years old. The buffet breakfast was delicious, and my son enjoyed it. Recommended for families on a budget looking for an affordable hotel in Malang.

My two-day stay at the Java Boutique Hotel was very enjoyable. While we were walking around, my backpack wasn't drying on the terrace. It turned out to be raining heavily. Thank God, the staff saved me. On Thursday, I was worried about getting wet. Thank you very much.
