The traditional feel is strong, yet it's clean and tidy. The semi-open hallway is cool, with tables and chairs for relaxing in the afternoon. The room is comfortable, and the staff is friendly. Perfect for those who miss classic Javanese ambiance but don't want the hassle. I'll be back again if I ever come back to Malang.

The receptionist was nice, friendly, and quick to respond. The guy who made the omelet was also quick to respond. The ladies manning the breakfast area were constantly chatting. They were talking so loudly, we guests were treated to their voices, to the point of being dizzy. Wasn't there any training beforehand? The room was clean, tidy, and the bed was very comfortable, and for this price, it was very cheap.

It's small on the outside, but the family room we chose was incredibly spacious with two king-size beds. Just one king-size bed could comfortably accommodate the four of us. And what's even more exciting is that it's right next door to Gangnam (a highly recommended Korean restaurant). The food at Java Boutique is also delicious. Thank you.

Breakfast was DELICIOUS! A complete traditional buffet menu: soy sauce chicken, yellow soup chicken soup, stir-fried vegetables, homemade chili sauce. The soy sauce chicken was so well-seasoned and the flavor was so rich. Then there was the refreshing yellow soup soup, complete with bean sprouts, cabbage, and a delicious chili sauce. The taste was authentic, like home cooking. The dining area is also aesthetically pleasing with Javanese carvings. Friendly service, fast refills. 10 stars for the food because it was to my taste.
