value for money with such cheap price can get 1 bunk bed with king koil mattress and pillow, hotel at the heart of the heart of Malang City (very near to jalan ijen, 5 minutes walking distance). love the javanese buffet style breakfast as well, delicious javanese cuisine, egg corner, bread corner, fruit juice, infuse water, etc. all for the price of less than 200.000. will be back next time.

Javanese style hotel. Have lift. Location very good in the heart of Malang city. Only 10 minutes from malang yrain station by taxi. Provide choices between sahur or breakfast. King koil bed. Toilet amenities like 4 star hotel. Even have fridge and safe deposit box. What else can u ask for more ?

Staff quite helpful to help us bring our luggage. Room clean. Bathroom clean. Location walking distance to jalan ijen and jalan kawi. Jalan ijen has museum brawijaya and chatolic church. Jalan ijen is one of the main street in malang. Jalan kawi has many shops and restaurant. Indomaret also within walking distance. Will come back next time and recommend this hotel to my friends.

I booked a suite and was given a room at the end of the room. The room was very small and the floor was dirty. The breakfast menu was lacking in variety and the taste was mediocre.

I've stayed at Java Boutique several times, but this was the first time I've had such an unpleasant experience: the bathroom water heater wasn't working. I stayed in room 205, and this wasn't my first time there. I complained, and the receptionist replied that the water heater in the room was indeed not working and would be fixed the next day. If they knew there was a problem, why were they still giving the room to the guest and not transferring or offering another room? Just a suggestion: before giving the room to the guest, it's best to check the facilities in the room first.

We apologize because Java Boutique Hotel uses a centralized water heater and not per room like a household water heater and there was a sudden repair waiting for spare parts so the repair took 24 hours. During that 24 hours the shower water could not be heated, so this hot shower problem was experienced by all rooms not just one room. Our staff has informed all guests at check-in and offered to boil hot water for guests with children. I booked it days in advance, but I ended up with a terrible room. There was no hot water, and the AC wasn't cold enough. It's not comfortable for a family to pay so much for a room that's not satisfying.

For Air con we always have routine maintenance every 3 months for all rooms, we will check again for the room used at that time. The sheets, bedcover, and pillowcases were yellow.
The hot water didn't work, and the shower didn't flow smoothly (tends to be shallow), making it uncomfortable for bathing.
The bathroom wasn't very clean.
The room wasn't soundproof.
It wasn't comfortable for small children as they couldn't take a warm shower.
The room was cramped, unlike the photos.

The room conditions are commensurate with the price. Access to and around the hotel is easily accessible by car. It's worth asking customers about their preferred saltiness level in the food. We're very sensitive and uncomfortable with too much salt, but other guests may differ. Overall, this hotel is highly recommended for the price.

The hotel is okay. I'd just recommend avoiding room 306. The water isn't warm (let alone hot, it's not even warm), the Wi-Fi is very weak and often cuts out, and the TV doesn't broadcast at all.
