Strategic location, but the rooms aren't soundproof. While staying, we could hear the sound of children running from the upstairs room.

Overall everything is good, just a little thing to note: when checking in I requested a quiet room, on the last night the next room was filled with the sound of young people singing in the middle of the night, but the quick response of security was immediately alert. H-1 before check out I had ordered take away breakfast at 04.45 AM, the day at 04.50 I called the front desk whether it was ready?, "will check" the response. At 05.03 I went down to ask again whether it was ready?, unfortunately there was still no one at the front desk and was just about to ask the kitchen. because I was pressed for time I finally left, please be more attention about how important is time for guests. Thank you!!

The staff is friendly, the pool is nice, and the facilities are great. You can find anything you want to eat nearby if you're hungry in the middle of the night.

I stay here often. The location and rooms are great. The Wi-Fi isn't very fast. The plus point is that you can watch Netflix in your room, available on the in-room TV, and you have a subscription.

I've booked two rooms, one with a large king bed and one with a non-smoking room, but was given a smoking room and the other with a double bed. I'm very disappointed. Don't give what a customer has ordered to other customers.

Netflix is free, but the room has a lot of stains 🙏 Check-in was really slow Otherwise, it's okay.

Some things that could be improved and their shortcomings: 1. The basement parking lot is bumpy. 2. It took a long time to get a room. I checked in at 2 and got my room at 4. I had to check out at 12 noon; there was no time limit. 3. The lobby area was a bit hot. 4. The room and bathroom interior needs improvement. 5. The cold water in the shower didn't work. 6. There was no refrigerator. The good things about staying here: 1. This hotel has its own unique character, different from other hotels, for example, the iconic wall art, the iconic building, and the iconic room design. 2. The WiFi is very fast. 3. There's a playground for children. 4. The rooms are very spacious. 5. For a 3-star hotel, it has a swimming pool and a rooftop. 6. The breakfast area is very spacious. 7. The food is also delicious. 8. The elevator is fast. 9. The receptionist is quick to respond. Hopefully Maxone Hotel Balikpapan will continue to exist and survive forever.

The lighting in the room is inadequate. It's a bit scary being alone at night.

A hotel with excellent facilities. Check-in at 10am was still well-serviced and we were able to upgrade to a larger room. Thank you to the receptionist for your excellent service. The food and pool facilities are excellent, making it perfect for a family stay.

The water is dirty, until morning and warm water is lacking.

Overall, it was quite good: the food was okay, the rooms were clean, and the staff were friendly. There were renovations going on when I arrived, so some areas were closed, but overall, it was still okay. Hopefully, it will get even better.

The wifi is slow, take your own takeaway food, the bathroom is a bit different, thank you.

Check-in and out process was easy and fast. Friendly staff. Clean room, cool AC, soft mattress, complete amenities, even slippers. Close to Alfamart, food stalls are just across the street. Overall, the best. Pool on the rooftop, guys. There's also a pub downstairs. Motorcycle parking in the basement is shady, so it doesn't get hot. Safe because there's security too. Top notch.
