There was no receptionist on duty when checking out, it took almost an hour to be served, and even then it was served by a security guard.

Everything was good, except there was no doormat (even though I requested one), but it wasn't delivered. Otherwise, it's highly recommended for a stay, and there's also a cafe and park nearby.

The hotel was nice, but the noise from the club next door was really disturbing at night, making it hard to sleep. From 12:00 AM to 7:30 AM.

This is my first time in Singkawang and I finally got a good night's sleep. The room is small but very comfortable, with a quiet atmosphere (it's true that at night there's a bit of club music playing, but I was at the end so I couldn't hear it too much). Complete facilities, very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. If I go to Singkawang, I want to stay here again. Only I couldn't request an early check-in even though I had requested it, and the towels were delivered late (but luckily I had brought provisions haha).

Overall, the hotel is nice and clean, only the Wi-Fi in the back rooms is really slow, they should add a hotspot, and the water has a strong iron smell, so you can't use it to brush your teeth, it would be better to install a water filter.

We were given a room on the 3rd floor without an elevator, which was quite difficult for those with small children and elderly people who have difficulty climbing stairs. The bathroom was also uncomfortable: it was small and cramped, the toilet was clogged and couldn't be used properly, the sink leaked like an open faucet at the bottom, and the shower was inflexible. The water flow was also very slow and the smell of the well was persistent. Overall, my stay here was very disappointing. This was my first and last time staying here. I had already booked for 2 nights with breakfast and couldn't get a refund, so I was forced to stay despite the very disappointing conditions.

At breakfast, the staff manning the buffet were inefficient, despite the crowds. They didn't check the number of bowls available, even though porridge (a dish that requires bowls) was still available. When asked, they simply said "yes," but didn't immediately provide them or at least refill them on the spot.

I checked in at 2, came to check the room for the Nobita type, the child's room mattress and sheets were already moldy, aka had been worn out for a long time, the room was dirty. The water was very small, towels if we didn't ask until 8 o'clock were not given, the reason was that there was no one in the room, when my child asked for it they didn't give it, I had to come again to ask for a towel, eh they only gave me a towel, they didn't give me a toothbrush, I had to ask for a bath.

The hotel's ambiance is great, close to the market, and easy access. The rooms are spacious and have a Japanese feel. Excellent.

The room was quite comfortable and spacious, but unfortunately the service needs to be improved. I booked a large room, the Sakura room. Check-in time was 2:00 PM, and the room wasn't ready yet, so I had to wait quite a long time before I could enter. The floor was dusty, the room wasn't soundproof, and the loud music from the Wins Club next door was playing all night long! The hotel also doesn't have an elevator, so those traveling with small children or the elderly and carrying large suitcases have to climb the stairs. The restaurant across the street also needs to improve its service. Breakfast said it starts at 7:00 AM. At 7:30 AM, guests were already queuing and it wasn't ready at all. At 7:45 AM, they were only allowed into the restaurant to sit and wait for the staff to prepare their food. If the hotel could improve this situation, I'm sure Kyodai would be a top choice for future stays.
