The Gables is a lovely place to stay.Donald & Mary are very welcoming and accommodating Delicious breakfast, comfy beds and coffee/tea in your room. Highly recommend

Lovely comfortable, spacious room with gorgeous view of the loch. Super helpful and friendly hosts. Easy access, parking and only 15 minute walk to center of town. Delicious full cook to order breakfast.

Hotel was lovely and clean, with comfortable rooms. Nice breakfast. The manager was very helpful and pleasant. A fantastic little place to stay

I booked the gables b&b as it was close to were my friends was getting married.There is a car park on site The host Mary was very welcoming and friendly and always making sure i had everything. felt like a home from home The bed was comfortable and slept well, Good choices for breakfast including cooked breakfast. I cant thank mary enough and i would stay here again also as a solo traveller i felt safe here. highly recommend 😀

We stayed at The Gables for a full week. The owners were fantastic. The breakfast was very good. Probably the best meals we had the entire trip. It was a home base while we spent our days driving all over Southern Scotland, the Highlands and The Isle of Skye. I would definitely stay at The Gables again.

My room was very clean. The breakfast was lovely, the parking was easy and the Landlady was very kind and helpful. Thank you so much and I will definitely come to stay with you again.

Stayed as I was at a wedding at The Vu. The hosts were amazing. Couldn’t have done more to help me out when I arrived slightly early. Lovely little place with great rooms. Breakfast was tasty and much needed! Thank you so much.

We were welcomed by the lovely Mary, who was very inviting, pleasant and helpful. Mary made us feel very comfortable. Our room was lovely. She even prepared breakfast a little bit earlier for us as we was there for a family bereavement. She helped us with all directions that we needed to know and also held onto our bags for a couple of hours for us to return and collect I would definitely recommend a stay here and we will definitely be staying there again. The gables was extremely nice and homely and definitely value for money.

We stayed at The Gables for 2 nights to attend The Royal Highland Show and it was perfect for our trip. Check in was straight forward, Mary was very accommodating and even offered us an extra early breakfast, however, it wasn’t necessary as breakfast is served from 8am and was very good and more than ample we didn’t even need lunch. It was lovely and quiet which was great after a busy couple of days, we would highly recommend anyone to use this as a base, it’s very easy to get out and about from Bathgate. Thank you Mary we had a very enjoyable stay.
