I stayed at the Horison Aziza Solo and overall, I had a pleasant experience. The hotel still has a strong Sharia (Islamic) feel, evident in the prayer equipment in the rooms and the recitation of Quranic verses in the public areas, creating a serene atmosphere. The location is quite strategic, about 10 minutes from Solo Balapan Station. The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable, equipped with fast Wi-Fi and a Smart TV for watching YouTube and other entertainment. The hotel provides a free water jug and water dispenser in the hallway, which I think is a good initiative. However, the dispenser is located at the end of the hallway, making it a bit far from the room if you're in the middle of the corridor. Breakfast offers a wide selection, with a predominantly Indonesian menu, and the food is quite tasty. I also tried the room service Horison Fried Rice and Aziza Platter, which were both reasonably priced and satisfying. It's worth noting that some of the breakfast items felt a bit cold due to the use of a heating lamp. Furthermore, the room's soundproofing could be improved, as noise from outside can still be heard. With a fairly affordable price, overall Horison Aziza Solo remains a comfortable and worthwhile hotel choice for staying in Solo.

I asked and answered in an unpleasant tone. I checked in on Wednesday the 6th... And the person's position is near the outside door, not the door leading to the restaurant. Please develop this person because it is a hospitality business, a friendly smile and greeting are obligatory for FO. And the hot water was still lukewarm from the beginning of check in until check out.

Breakfast was bland. The chicken porridge was bland, like it lacked salt or coconut milk. The kwetiau was bland. The pukis were bland. The food was all bland, flavorless.
