The staff was very friendly and responsive. I think this is the second best hotel at Surabaya.

True to its star rating, this super comfortable hotel boasts exceptional service, with incredibly friendly and helpful staff (there's an internal WhatsApp service for guests to communicate with staff with questions or requests). The food and drinks are also excellent. I recommend ordering the pizza, as both the taste and price are quite affordable for a hotel like Shangri-La. Breakfast offers a wide selection, and if you're lucky, you might even find sirloin steak served at the buffet. Amenities include a swimming pool, tennis courts, a gym, and a spa. Beware, it's often crowded on weekends; sometimes people book the lobby lounge. The rooms are very comfortable, clean, and spacious, although not a Business/Suite. There are also plenty of amenities, including an iron. Recommended for a staycation. I'd definitely stay again if I had the chance. Unfortunately, plane tickets are expensive now (from Jakarta). The tickets are more expensive than the stay itself (>~<) ~Khairisan

A spacious, old but luxurious hotel. Fun for families.

Everything is very nice, breakfast has many variation and delicious, room is very quite and clean , swimming pool, fitness center, spa all are very fine, Lobby decor is nice, The only thing not perfect is the spring bed already too soft.

The hotel is very nice and comfortable but unfortunately I left my wallet behind but I tried to confirm with the hotel and they said there was nothing left behind :'( I really need the insurance card for outpatient treatment. Only my ID card is left because luckily my husband held the ID card to use on the JKT-SBY plane, it wasn't in my wallet so I could still go home by plane from SBY to Jakarta. Please help the hotel or anyone if you have any information about my wallet, please contact me anytime. Here is an example of a wallet that was left behind/lost. Thank you

Very impressive, the first time I stayed here, I felt like I was at a Balinese resort. All the service was great and good. However, one thing that needs to be improved is the receptionist. For example, if there's 5 minutes left, they should be on time within 5 minutes so you don't have to wait too long during check-in. And when I reconfirmed, they said 15 minutes 🙂 They didn't offer a welcome drink or anything like that, which seemed indifferent.

The on off button of the tv Remote didn't work. The glass provided in the room got a little bit broken here n there, when we told the front desk when we checked out, the staff apologized to us by giving us cookies as a token of apology. Hotel need to check regularly of the room
