The location is very strategic, close to shopping and dining areas. The staff is quite friendly, and check-in was quick. A 50,000 IDR key deposit is required upon check-in. Terrible service. I was moved to a superior city view room based on the recommendation of the receptionist (a woman wearing a hijab). Confirmation of the move was made at 10:00. Checked with the receptionist at 10:00. The superior city view room, room 103, had already checked out, and the room hadn't been cleaned yet. Okay. Promised to clean it soon and then move my belongings to the new room. Okay. I left the hotel at 11:00 for business and again reminded the receptionist to clean room 103 immediately so I could go home and rest, and the room was ready. Turns out I returned to the hotel at 3:30 PM, and room 103 was still messy and dirty, not ready or cleaned. And apparently, I wasn't the only one complaining.
