Great location and hotel

The hotel is clean and the room was nice, although smaller than expected for a suite. Totally enjoyed the firm mattress. On the other hand, room service food was below average and drinks at the bar were watered down. Service was subpar as well. We asked reception to collect the room service trays from our room while we were out. After returning 3hrs later we found the trays still in our room. Reception also gave us incorrect details regarding parking at the B4 car park, so we never received the alleged 55% discount. The total lack of parking at the hotel is a major issue. Prices are way too high for what this hotel is/has to offer.

Fantastic hotel and one I would highly recommend for a stay in Birmingham

Allowed us to check in much earlier than recommended time. Swift and polite room service. All staff incredibly polite and helpful to the point where a more senior member of staff happened to be having debrief by my door and took my case and carried it outside for me. Breakfast food and service stunning- would 100% stay again!

Really nice hotel

One of my fave hotels in Bham and the only one I choose to stay in when visiting the city. Main bar accomodating to hotel guests, maybe the new jazz bar could keep tables open for hotel guests as would have loved to have visited but apparently fully booked

Quality refurbishment of a historic building

Close to centre, bull ring, ICC, train station. Good sized rooms well equipped and comfortable.

Room was slightly dirty - mould around lower panel of shower door, slightly stained sheets, 2 spiders in the 5 days I spent there. There is a small flight of stairs to go up from the street to the lobby. It was also my birthday which I mentioned when booking but there was nothing special from the hotel. Hence the points off for cleanliness and service. Was a pretty cool hotel otherwise and great location.

Great city centre hotel- well located and walkable to shops and restaurants nearby. Close to central station also have parking nearby which they validate/discount. Small but well appointed gym and lovely in house bar. Room was spacious and quiet given the loaction

Best City ive stayed at, even after I checked out, I was made more than welcome and did work in the breakout room at the hotel's invitation. I had lunch in their excellent lounge-dining area where the previous night I sat in comfort after a night out with a client. Superb.

They were able to accommodate my request for an early check in at 9am which was much appreciated as I was coming in intentionally and was exhausted. Beautiful facility. Art deco theme. Restaurant was clean and had tasty continental breakfast. Every staff member I encountered was polite, efficient and approachable.

Fantastic hotel and staff. Can’t fault a thing. Breakfast was great aswell.

Perfect location .. as had a meal booked at pasture which was 2 mins walk away Fabulous room also
