I booked a room with a kitchen (I don’t remember the exact room name) via app, and according to the layout, it should have included a separate bedroom. However, when I checked in, I was given a studio room without a kitchen. I was quite surprised and immediately informed the receptionist, as it seemed like a mistake. After checking, the reception team explained that the booking system from app had actually reserved a studio room without a kitchen, which was different from what was stated on my app billing. I requested to be given the correct room type, since the studio room was clearly cheaper than what I had paid for. Thankfully, the receptionist was very helpful and assisted me in resolving the issue. I really appreciate their help. When I entered the room, I felt that the cleanliness could be improved. While washing dishes, there was a strong unpleasant smell coming from the sink. After calling the staff, I was informed that since my room was located at the corner, the drainage system sometimes produces a smell similar to garbage. Honestly, my first impression was disappointing and a bit frustrating. However, I truly appreciate the staff here—they were very friendly and extremely helpful. In the end, I was quite satisfied with the room overall. Everything was good, but the cleanliness and maintenance could definitely be improved. The kitchen equipment was complete, the view was nice, the air conditioning worked well, and the bed was comfortable. For app, I would suggest ensuring that the room details shown in the system match the actual booking. I’m not sure whether this was due to pricing or a system error, but I did not use any coupon at checkout. It’s important to avoid this kind of mismatch, as it can be misleading for customers. Thankfully, the hotel was willing to help resolve the issue. For Somerset, I am very satisfied with the service. Perhaps cleanliness and maintenance can be improved slightly—for example, some items like the carpet may need to be replaced. Thank you.

I never thought I would get this type of room at a low price with complete facilities, plus the view of the city lights from the room and the swimming pool, especially at night it is really beautiful.

Honestly, I was quite disappointed with the breakfast place. 1. The hotel was already expensive enough for me, so why was the restaurant serving breakfast so basic? It looked like a place for a quick bite. 2. The food selection was also disappointing, and the croissants were soggy. I hope the breakfast place is repaired and beautified soon.
