Very beautiful historic, quaint hotel with a delicious variety of breakfasts served to guests in the dining room.

The room was super cool and huge!! Breakfast was delicious and staff were amazing. Solid!!

Historic Inn and nice quiet location

Our stay at this property was nice. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location was in a nice area. However, our only complaints was that the balcony off of our room was covered in bird feces and had a strong odor. There is no air conditioner at this property so the windows had to remain open to cool down the room. So the smell from outside would come into the room. The mattress on the bed needed to be replaced as it had a large dip in the middle of the bed. With just a few minor changes this property could be excellent.

Location was very nice and peaceful. Be aware this is a century home with no air conditioning. Only a problem if very warm temperatures expected. Supplied breakfast was excellent. Rooms were unique as is the building.

I arrived quite late at night and left at breakfast the next morning so I didn’t interact with any staff. As such, I can really only review the room. The upside: my late arrival was accommodated with ease. Parking and getting to my room were simple and quick. The room itself was quite large, with a sitting area where one could unwind for the day. The downside: My room could use a refresh. The style is fussy, think artificial flowers and lace. The bathroom has the original fixtures and tub so while there is authenticity, a stained porcelain tub doesn’t necessarily invite one to soak. I wouldn’t stay again but if you’re grandparents are looking for a place to stay that reminds them of that o e hotel they stayed at in the 80’s…..this is it!

On the plus side: Very comfortable bed! Better than average shower. Very good location, quiet surroundings. Cons: Rug needs cleaning. Shower door handle needs replacing. Breakfast choices very limited if you don’t eat eggs.

The Latch Inn is a lovely quaint place to stay full of old world charm. It is located in a beautiful area of Sidney with marina and bay views. Jas was an excellent host, he was very welcoming and gracious. I read the positive reviews about the breakfast, and they were spot on. The breakfast options were fabulous; the Eggs Benedict was extremely delicious, and the service was excellent. I recommend this hotel, if you are looking for a unique experience with great breakfast and service.

The Latch Inn. Is a lovely historic property with a rich history. It is a peaceful place to return to after a busy day sightseeing. The breakfasts were great and the service attentive. However, management would be advised to pay some attention to the upkeep of the property. Specifically, the bathtub in our room was out of order, the carpet was dirty and we were unable to watch TV because of poor Internet service. The ceiling tiles in the bedroom needed repair and the shower stall could’ve been cleaner. We ordered pizza for dinner and a frozen “box” pizza arrived. This is a beautiful property and it could offer so much more to its guests.

Charming hotel that is a conversion of a beautiful old home. Somewhat dated and needing a face lift, but authentic to the. Beautiful grounds and views of the bay.

Great BNB. 100 year old home updated to provide a very comfortable welcoming stay. Staff was very good, and we enjoyed the made to order breakfast. Will definitely stay there for future trips.

rooms ok but dusty breakfast just ok grounds looked gorgeous on ad but were completely neglected garbage cans overfilled therefore garbage on grounds advertised beautiful gardens was complete false advertising all guests reported same complaints

Very cute hotel. No elevator so you will be carrying your bag up a flight of stairs. But it’s worth it.

This is a unique property right near the water. Each room is unique, full of antique furniture, and modern upgraded bathrooms. The shower had good pressure which is often hard to find. The included breakfast had many options, but could use a little more imagination.

Good place to stay if you want somewhere quieter than central Victoria but close to airport too. The Latch Inn has alot of interesting history as well as it's traditional build and feel. Breakfast was great and staff very helpful. Could use a bit of modernisation in the rooms and make better use of both the garden and room balcony with access.

Great historical property located on a harbor, that was comfortable and interesting. Unfortunately, we missed their breakfast, as we had to leave before breakfast service started at 8 a.m. They did provide a to-go bag of goodies; the only recommendation I would make is that they not heat the bagel (they gave us the bag the night before) as it was hard as a rock by the time we left in the morning and not easily edible.
