The Latch Inn is a unique accommodation if you like something more eclectic. The building has alot of character, as do the rooms. Everything was clean and inviting. Some areas more run down but nothing that overly concerned us. The breakfast was AMAZING...the hollandaise sauce was so delicious. Service was really great and the location was quiet, safe and very close to the airport (which is why we chose it). Highly recommend!

It's a lovely property and the manager was very friendly, the breakfast was excellent. The bedroom was clean if you didn't look closely under the bed on the windowsill around the window frames and everywhere or the human eye typically doesn't go, there was thick dust. Also on the bathroom window screens, cobwebs on the radiators and the windows. The tub the sink everything else was clean. We still enjoyed our stay - But so much dust and cobwebs really stood out to me that the cleaners were not doing a great job.

We love the Latch for so many reasons! Location = quiet (heard owls early this morning). History = it’s a unique structure and story. Hospitality = by FAR the best breakfast you will ever have included in your stay. Eggs Benny or omelet, the freshest, sweetest fruit, high quality bacon. The STAFF, go above and beyond in every way. And to top it all off, pets are welcome, a small dog park is nearby. Our dog gets pretty excited when she sees we are going to the Latch!

This hotel is charming and memorable, very pretty in historical building. The staff were very kind and it is close to all amenities. Here are the down sides. The hotel doesn’t warrant the price, at all. Almost insultingly so. I couldn’t use the bathtub. The pipes are old and so the water that comes out of them is coffee colored. I noticed an old sign afterwards that said “do not use tub because the pipes are old”. The rooms are supplied with two space heaters because the rooms are chilly. I saw that some people said they enjoyed the beds. There is no way that mattress is from this century. Lastly and above all…. YOU CANT WORK FROM HERE there internet is just that bad. Everything else was perfect. If you want charm and history - this is it.

The team at The Latch was welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. It’s an older, stately property with comfortable beds, spacious gathering areas, and fresh baked goods.

Greater older style house (was built in 1929 as the Lieutenant's mansion) with a large room (mine, the Library, anyway). There was a great breakfast in the morning with an actual menu.

The Latch in is very comfortable - elegance from an earlier century: large rooms with a comfortable bed and places to sit - a place where you don't mind spending a bit of time. Breakfast is wonderful - adding to the pleasure of your stay.
