Helpful staff, convenient to train station

The staff were so friendly from the second we arrived, the room was spotless and they even took our luggage up for us as we had arrived early and left our bags at reception. It had a warm, cosy atmosphere with a log fire going in the evenings, and felt really welcoming.

This was easily the best hotel we’ve ever stayed at! We left our luggage pre check in so that we could explore Zermatt, and by the time we got back our room was ready (before the checkin time) and our luggage had already been delivered to our room. We loved the use of real keys instead of key cards, it sounds silly but it was a really fun touch to the whole experience. The room was super clean and very comfortable and our view of the Matterhorn was exceptional. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff were so kind! Our favorite part, however, was the sauna. We stayed during their fall shoulder season and had the space to ourselves for the entire time. They have four different saunas (herbal, Finnish, salt, and steam) and they were very well maintained and clean. We loved the option for a cold shock post sauna with the showers as well. It is also located perfectly All in all, a fabulous experience.

The Pollux boutique hotel is right on the Main Street so walking distance from the train station and all the shops. Our room has a balcony with a great view of the Matterhorn. The breakfast buffet is delicious with fresh made juices and lots of food choices. We enjoyed our time and definitely would stay here again next time.
