I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Garrya Yogyakarta. The hotel itself is stunning—peaceful, beautifully designed, and truly feels like a luxury retreat. But what really made this place stand out for me was the staff. While the facilities are important, the warmth and kindness of the people make all the difference. I recommend the in-room dining, such an experience. The staff here were genuinely sweet, attentive, and made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. Their hospitality turned an already beautiful hotel into an unforgettable experience. For me, this stay tops all other 5-star hotels I’ve visited. I would absolutely return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for both luxury, relaxation and heartfelt service.

Each room has a private pool, it's really the best because the price also includes snacks and a minibar, there's Netflix so you can chill and swim freely anytime because there's a private pool.. tried lunch at the restaurant and surprisingly it was really delicious.. they have a lot of Thai food selections and it's delicious.. not so hidden place but quite peacefull you can also get GoFood.. and also tried the massage at 8lement spa.. and the deep body massage was so good as well.. ahh top notch everything

I stayed here overnight, but I took the experience package: sound healing, jamu maker, eco pounding, and VW classic tour. Everything was fun, a truly amazing experience, and I'll be back soon to try other experiences. The food was delicious, the room was very clean, and there were no animals. The only downside was the bathtub, but there wasn't bubble bath soap provided; only bath salts. Other hotels do provide bubble bath soap. Also, unfortunately, the customer service representative on my WhatsApp was uninformative, leaving me with many things I didn't know. For example, the eco pounding package included batik-making. This wasn't disclosed, even though it was really fun, and we had already paid for it, but it wasn't disclosed from the start. Furthermore, it turns out the hotel's breakfast is not a buffet, but rather an a la carte option. If we had known it was an a la carte option, we could have ordered it earlier and had it delivered to our room. This wasn't disclosed to us either. Then, for all the experience packages, the customer service/receptionist always gave the wrong price information, as if there was no standard price. Initially, the yoga price was listed at 300,000 per person, but suddenly the price was incorrectly listed at 800,000 per person, for some reason. Finally, when I wrote in the Traveloka note to make a decoration for my wife, I wrote "Happy Birthday to My Husband" instead. I waited for check in until about 17.00, disappointing right? and it turned out that my room type was available, but it was said that it was for another customer, huh?
