Villas in Gifu

The hotel is clean, amenities are good, strategically situated in front of Takayama station, closed to all restaurants, bus station (to Shirakawa-Go), 15 minutes walk to old town quarter. Below is Family Mart, so convenient. The room is quite small though.

The service is very good, very satisfying. I accidentally left something behind at the previous hotel in another city, the WAT hotel was very helpful by contacting the hotel concerned and helping to ensure that the items I left behind were sent via COD package to my next hotel. Thank you very much wat hotel.

A value for money kind of hotel. Just right there in front of the Takayama station. So convenient. Peace and quiet at night. The room is clean, with fast Wi-Fi. The only downside is the hard pillow.

A great place to experience traditional-japanese-like living. The interior is filled with tatami so we need to take off our shoes and put it in the entrance shoe locker. Because we went in January, so really appreciate the onsen provided inside the hotel free no added charges for private or public onsen. The room has an elevated traditional japanese touch with a comfy floor bedding futon. I mean the rest of our trip hotels were like normal small hotel rooms, so we really love this different thematic experience!
