Today I had the opportunity to visit BXSea. The place is clean, comfortable, and perfect for visiting with family or friends. The collection of marine life is quite diverse, with interesting and educational displays. The flow of the visit is also well-organized, so visitors can enjoy each area without feeling rushed. The staff on duty are friendly and helpful when visitors need information. Overall, the experience was very enjoyable and worthy of being one of the educational tourist destinations in the Bintaro area.

You Should Also Know This

General tips

Visit in the morning, especially on weekends and public holidays (opens at 9:00), to avoid large crowds. Weekdays generally open at 10:00.

Plan for about 90 to 120 minutes to explore the main journey, though you can stay as long as you like.

Ensure you enter the oceanarium by 21:00, as the venue closes at 22:00.

Your ticket is for a single entry only; re-entry is not permitted after leaving the gate.

What to wear and bring

Wear comfortable shoes and clothing, as you will be walking for a significant duration.

Bringing your own refillable tumbler is encouraged; water refill areas are available inside.

For the best photos, especially in the darker, backlit exhibits (like the jellyfish area or the tunnel), plain clothing (black or white) without busy patterns is often recommended.

Facilities & accessibility

Restrooms are readily available throughout the venue.

Limited free wheelchair service is available for the elderly or disabled on a first-come, first-served basis. Contact the information center upon arrival.

You may bring your own personal wheelchair or child stroller. Staff may limit the total number inside at any time for safety; if the limit is reached, you might need to wait for the next entry.

The venue includes special lifts, disability-friendly toilets, and flat, accessible pathways.

Luggage of any type (including airwheel or scooter luggage) is not permitted inside the attraction.

Food, prayer & smoking policies

Outside food and drinks are generally not allowed, except for beverages in personal tumblers and necessary baby food/special dietary items (check with staff).

Food tenants (like Wingstop, Hophop Signature, Jollytime, Shake Shake in a Tub), one main restaurant, and two refreshment areas are located inside. A food court is also near the Children's Playground.

A dedicated prayer room (Musholla) is available on the B2 floor near the Jellyfish attraction.

Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is strictly restricted to designated smoking areas only.

Photography & device usage

Photos and videos are allowed for personal use only (commercial use is prohibited).

Be respectful of other visitors’ privacy when taking photos or videos.

Special events or seasonal feature

Check the daily schedule for exciting animal feeding times (Otters, Archer Fish, Sea Theatre, Arapaima, Piranha, etc.). Schedules usually run from 11:00 to 17:45.

Enhance your visit with special programs like the Boat Tour and the Behind The Sea exclusive operations tour, which are available for an extra fee.

Other rules & services

Pets are not allowed, with the exception of registered guide, hearing, and assistance dogs.

Children under 15 years old must be supervised by an adult at all times.

Children under 2 years old and senior 70 years onld and above enter free.

The venue is monitored by CCTV; please be responsible for your personal belongings.
