Even though Chiang Rai is often called the sleepy town from its slow-life vibes, the northernmost province of Thailand has yet a wealth to offer. This one-day tour set off in the morning at Mae Kachan Hot Spring, the country's highest's geyser. After soothing yourself and soaking in 90°C therapeutic natural hot water, the tour continues to its highlight which is Wat Rong Khun aka the White Temple, an ornate Buddhist temple designed, built and owned by world-renowned national Thai artist Chalermchai Kositpipat.
The afternoon goes on with a visit to Wat Rong Seur Ten aka the Blue Temple designed and built by Phuttha Kabkaew, a local artist and a beloved disciple of Chalermchai.
