The tour covers multiple stops, allowing you to explore the "City by the Bay" at your own pace. The boarding point for the Alcatraz ferry is at Pier 33. You must redeem your tickets at Stop 1 (Big Bus Tours Visitors' Center) one day before or by 9:30 AM on the day of your Alcatraz visit.

The Chinatown walking tour starts at 1:00 PM from Stop 2 (North Beach / Chinatown).

A free mobile app is available to download for live updates, bus locations, maps, and more.

The Day Tour (Red Route) takes about 2 1/2 hours for a full circuit if you do not hop off the bus.
