Hue Traditional Music Performance on Perfume River - 1 Hour

Although the boat ride is said to be about 1 hour, in reality we only sing for about 30 minutes and then stop singing. The total time on the boat is only about 40 minutes to the mainland.

I think Ca Hue on the Perfume River is a must-do experience for a trip to Hue. This is a unique combination of listening to traditional music and enjoying the river scenery, imbued with the cultural identity of the ancient capital. When I got close to the pier at around 7:30 pm, I couldn't call for ticket exchange support. I asked Traveloka hotline but they told me to wait for processing and then disappeared! Black

After booking the ticket, you will receive a message from the boat via Zalo. Seeing some reviews that you should arrive early, we arrived at 7:30 pm. But our boat did not arrive until 7:45 pm and did not start moving until 8:06 pm (the boat number was correct on Zalo, probably depending on the seller). We did not need to print the paper ticket but took the message straight onto the boat (you should call the seller first). The girls sang very sweetly, the dialogue was very charming and fun, the whole boat clapped their hands. There was a flower lantern release but I did not participate so I cannot describe it. Everyone should try it, it is worth the experience.

Oh my god, it's so good, the singer and band are the best, when you come to Hue, you should definitely go see Hue singing on the river.

The boat runs on an engine so it goes to the middle of the river, even though it's not moving, there's still engine noise. There's no mic so the last row can't hear clearly. The description says they release floating lanterns. But in reality, the number is limited. Not all participants can.

listen to singing on the river but the boat only stands in one place, the performance time is not fixed at 8-9pm, I arrived at 7:45pm and the boat had already performed 15 minutes before, the performance time is 45 minutes. This is a rainy and windy season so even when releasing lanterns, I couldn't see the lights.

The staff was quite enthusiastic, although the duration was about 35-40 minutes, I thought it was enough. However, I introduced my friend to go on September 1st, but they only got 25 minutes and couldn't release the lanterns, so the impression wasn't good at all.

Horrible. The boat moved like 5m away from dock, no more. Then 20 min of music then back. They started 15 min late and ended 15 min early than the description. Everyone is cramped into one boat. Super loud people around you. Barely able to hear the singing anyway. Never again.

The singer's voice is a bit small compared to the instrument. Overall, this is an experience worth trying when coming to Hue

A beautiful mix of music and nature! The only downside is that the cruise felt a bit short, but overall its a unique and enriching cultural experience that I would highly recommend

There was a girl wearing a purple ao dai the night I went to listen at 8pm, she looked very elegant and shiny. Her hands were full of diamonds and gold, while working (singing/waiting for others to sing) she was always holding her phone and constantly pressing buttons, even making phone calls while performing. It was a bit unprofessional even though we knew everyone had to run shows continuously, but the audience looked at it and lacked the inherent respect. Going to listen to singing but only felt disrespect for the audience. In return, the other members were very focused and hardworking. There was a very pretty young girl who was always smiling and focused.
