The first day of our journey, after getting on a plane from Bangkok to Phuket, the next step is to get a rental car. This trip will not be complete without a good rental car from Traveloka. You might not know but we can now rent a car from Traveloka, while the booking process is easy too. Just fill out the no. of passengers, date time and place and that’s it – just don’t forget to confirm again 24 hours before. So, your trip to Phuket will be as comfortable and convenient as ever.
We received the car and drove to our first destination, a hotel, to keep our belongings and headed out for some food. We chose to go for a local Southern Thai food with a famous restaurant called ‘TuKab Khao’. One of the most well-known places in Phuket is located in the city. We got to try delicious and high-quality ingredients with an interesting decoration.
We ordered lots of Southern food like Moo Hong Phuket (a pork belly stew), Nam Prik Koong Siap (a chili paste with prawn) and Pla Tod Kamin (turmeric fried fish) and many more to eat. The price of the dishes is affordable and the service is great. We really like the place and recommend everyone to have good food here!
After finishing our meal, we decided to go on an adventure. Heading to Hanuman World, an adventure park in the rainforest with lots of extreme activities for you. Rush your adrenalines with Zipline and fly through the jungle or walk on a treetop walkway and see beautiful landscapes. ATV is also available, drive and have a blast on an exciting path.
We spent half of our day at Hamuman World and now it’s evening. Of course, we need to go check-in at Promthep Cape for a beautiful view. But expect lots of tourists because it’s a famous spot for watching the sunset too. The landscape is really worth the cheap flight! We felt relaxed and forgot about our burden just by watching the sun and the big ocean.
We woke up to a beautiful morning, which is perfect for today’s trip – a diving trip! We had breakfast from our hotel and then drove to meet with our tour guide. The tour today would take us to many islands and interesting diving spots.
The First island of this trip is Pai Island, one of the shallow diving spots in Hat Noppharat Thara – Phi Phi Island. It is full of marine life with different coral reefs and meet schools of fish. Dive down and be amazed with the underwater world.
After diving for a while, we took a break and got up on the beach, walked along the beach and got good pics too!
The next destination of the diving spot is Mai Thon Island, another highlight of Andaman Sea with a clean beach, clear ocean water – some people even call it the Maldives of Thailand.
Not only it has a good diving spot, there is also another landmark on this island for the tourists too. Take some shots on the long bridge, heading towards the ocean. Climbing up on a hill to the viewpoint and see beautiful landscape from the hilltop.
We took a break and had lunch on the island that the tour provided. Then we hop on a boat and headed to the last destination of today which is the famous Phi Phi Island. The island that you cannot miss when visiting Phuket. There are Lots of activities, tourist with a lively atmosphere. Explore the islands and visit the viewpoints. Take good photos while relaxing on the beach, diving with an exciting environment – an experience that you will not forget!
The last day of this trip, we will go exploring the city instead. Because Phuket has an interesting culture and local life. We drove into the town and started sightseeing in the neighbourhood called ‘Old Town’. Chinese-Portuguese style of buildings are widely built within this area, because Phuket is a port city where lots of refugees from China moved in.
Not only the style of buildings that you will see in Phuket. Cultures and traditions here are also unique and famous, like the ‘Vegetarian Festival’ in October of every year, which is a big event that attracts both locals and tourists too.

After walking for a while, we found a café to sit at called ‘Roof Pudding & Cafe’ , a café with a signature menu of pudding. The café is simple and minimal, decorated with a real tree growing in the middle of the café. A quiet and beautiful café to escape from the city.

Last place is also another café called ‘Refresh Tropical Café’. A café with a tropical decoration, palm trees, a pool and wooden furniture make this café more interesting.
