Traveloka EPIC Sale: Innovative Campaign to Revive Vietnam’s Domestic Economy and Tourism amid the Pandemic

Ho Chi Minh City, 13 April 2021 – Traveloka, Southeast Asia’s leading lifestyle super-app, officially launched its EPIC Sale campaign for the second time in Vietnam from 14 to 20 April 2021. In 2021, Vietnam is expected to cater to 80 million domestic visitors, 40% higher than 2020.

Mr. Le Truong Hien Hoa, Director of Ho Chi Minh City Tourism Promotion Center, shared the opportunities of Vietnam’s domestic tourism in upcoming time, “The government is currently focusing on boosting domestic tourism with the expectation of impressive growth in visitors and revenue in 2021. One of the key focus areas during this period is to promote digital transformation and application of information technology in the tourism sector, especially in tourism promotion. With this in mind, it is high time for us to establish a strong collaboration with the private sector to support this mission and we appreciate Traveloka’s initiatives to support the acceleration of post-COVID-19 tourism recovery.”

Collaborating with over 1,200 partners of Hotels, Xperiences, Airlines, Airport Transfer, etc for the EPIC Sale 2021, this campaign is expected to boost the customer demand hence can positively contribute to the partners’ business and economic recovery in the tourism sector.
