We know the change to your sailing date may raise questions. To assist you better, we've gathered the most important information and options available below. We'll continue updating this FAQ over time to keep you informed.

General Information

Why was my cruise delayed?

As the Disney Cruise Line brings the vision of a fully reimagined Disney experience at sea, there have been unexpected delays in the shipbuilding process. To ensure every detail meets the high standards you expect from Disney, the difficult decision has been made to postpone the Disney Adventure's maiden voyage.

When is the new sailing date?

For Maiden Voyage:
The new sailing date has been confirmed for 10 March 2026. If you are booked on the original maiden voyage, your booking will be automatically rescheduled to the new maiden voyage date. However, if you are unable to sail on the new date, you have the option to reschedule to another sailing date and we will assist you through the process. If the new dates do not align with your schedule, you can also choose to request a refund.
For Non-Maiden Voyage:
You can choose a new sailing date after the Maiden Voyage and check it on Traveloka App. The selected date must not be later than 31 March 2027. If the new dates do not align with your schedule, you can also choose to request a refund.

Ticket Validity

What options do I have when my cruise is delayed?

Your options differ slightly based on whether you were originally booked on the maiden voyage or not.

For Maiden Voyage:

1.
Reschedule your booking to the new maiden voyage Your cruise booking will be automatically moved to the new maiden voyage unless you confirm otherwise by replying to the email sent to you by 21 September 2025.
2.
Reschedule your booking to a non-maiden voyage sailing date If you're unable to join the new maiden voyage, you can still reschedule to a different sailing date.
3.
Submit a refund If you're unable to join on any of the updated sailing dates, you can submit a refund request. You will receive a 100% refund.

For Non-Maiden Voyage:

1.
Reschedule your booking to a different sailing date You can request to move your booking to another date.
2.
Submit a refund If you're unable to join on any of the updated sailing dates, you can submit a refund request. You will receive a 100% refund.

We also understand that these changes disrupt your travel plans. Therefore, we would like to extend a 50% discount of your voyage fare for use on your next Disney Cruise Line booking regardless of which option you choose. Note that the future cruise must be booked by 31 March 2026, and the cruise must depart on or before 31 March 2027.

Do I need to pay extra if I rebook for another date?

No, you don't need to pay extra. In fact, we will offer you a 50% discount if you wish to reschedule to a new sailing date.

Will I lose my cabin choice if the cruise is rescheduled?

If you choose to reschedule your sailing date, rest assured we will prioritize placing you in the same cabin you originally booked. However, please note that this will be subject to the availability on the new sailing dates.

Flights, Hotels & Other Travel Arrangements

What should I do if I already booked flights for my cruise?

If booked through Traveloka:

To ensure the adjustments made to your travel plans are as smooth as possible, we'll also assist you with any flight or hotel bookings you have made through us.

If booked separately:

Please contact your airline or hotel directly. We can provide an official delay notice to support your request.

Will you reimburse me for additional expenses like visas, hotels, or flights?

We are unable to cover third-party costs outside the cruise booking. We can provide official documentation of the delay to assist you with any claims or rescheduling requests, if necessary.

Travel Documents

Will my travel documents (visa, passport, permits) still be valid for the new date?

Please check the validity of your travel documents. If they expire before the new date, you'll need to renew them before sailing.

What if my passport validity is under 6 months on the new sailing date?

Most destinations and Disney Cruise Line require passports to be valid for at least 6 months beyond the sailing date. If your passport will not meet this requirement, you must renew it before departure. Unfortunately, we cannot cover passport renewal costs, but we strongly recommend starting the process early once the new date is confirmed.
