   • For passengers whose flights are involuntarily diverted to Bali, a swab/PCR test is not mandatory
   • Exceptions do not apply to members of the State Civil Apparatus (ASN), Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), and Indonesian National Police (Polri). A negative PCR-based swab test result is always mandatory, except in emergency conditions.

Foreign Nationals (WNA) are prohibited from entering Indonesia starting January 1, 2021 until January 28, 2021. Exception for:

• Holder of diplomatic stay permit and official stay permit
• Holder of KITAP (Permanent Residence Permit Card) or KITAS (Limited Residence Permit Card)

International passengers arriving in Indonesia for Foreign Nationals (WNA) or Indonesian (WNI) that arrive from January 1, 2021 until January 28, 2021
To be allowed to travel, passengers must present the following documents and comply with the following regulations:

1. Negative test result for COVID-19 from a swab test/PCR
   • To be presented at the departure airport and upon arrival.
   • Test results must be issued within 2 days before your departure date.
2. All Passengers, Indonesian and Foreign Nationals, will be re-examined in the form of RT-PCR by the competent authorities upon arrival in Indonesia.
• During the waiting time of the RT-PCR test result, Indonesian Nationals are required to undergo quarantine at a special quarantine accommodation provided by the government. While for foreign Nationals are required to undergo quarantine at the self-funded quarantine area (Hotel / Lodging) which has received certification for COVID-19 quarantine accommodation from the Ministry of Health.
3. RT-PCR re-examination results follow up action
• In the event that the RT-PCR re-examination result conducted in arrival time shows a negative result, Indonesian nationals must undergo a quarantine for 5 days from the arrival date at a designated government quarantine facility. As for foreign nationals, it is required to undergo a self-quarantine at hotels that has been determined by the government at their own expense
• Chief of foreign country representatives and their family who are assigned to Indonesia may carry out a self-quarantine at their residence for 5 days
• For other foreign diplomats, self-quarantine for 5 days is carried out at quarantine facility provided by the government
• In the event that the RT-PCR re-examination result conducted in arrival time shows a positive result, medical treatments in a hospital will be given to Indonesia nationals at government expense and foreign nationals at their own expense
4. After quarantine for 5 days from the date of arrival, Indonesian nationals and foreigners required to undergo the RT-PCR re-examination.
• In the event of a negative result, Indonesian nationals and foreigners are allowed to continue their journey.
• In the event of a positive result, medical treatments in a hospital will be given to Indonesia nationals at government expense and foreign nationals at their own expense
