Hong Kong Airlines e-ticket is an eligible proof for booking an Hong Kong Airlines flight. Show your e-ticket during check-in at the Hong Kong Airlines counter at the airport, or use it for self check-in (at the airport or online), to get your boarding pass. Hong Kong Airlines’ Economy Class service is available on its A330 and A320 aircraft. The A330 aircraft are equipped with advanced in-flight entertainment systems, with content ranging from various Hollywood and Asian blockbuster movies, TV shows, to games. Meanwhile, the A320 aircraft are equipped with 10-18 inches overhead LCD monitors located around the cabin, displaying short movies depending on the flight duration. Hong Kong Airlines also offers an onboard shopping experience through an in-flight duty-free magazine called Skyshop. Economy Class passengers will be served a Hong Kong styled tofu dessert and traditional Chinese cookies that embody the unique spirit of Hong Kong. Alternative meals are also available for passengers with dietary restrictions, which include Vegetarian Meals, Non-Vegetarian Religious Meals, Medical Meals, and Children’s Meals. Business Class passengers will be provided a premium service even since before boarding. Passengers are entitled to priority check-in and boarding at Hong Kong Airlines counters at the airport, as well as a baggage allowance of up to 30 kg. Hong Kong Airlines’ Business Class cabin is equipped with luxurious flatbed seats, allowing passengers to have a comfortable and high-quality sleep during their flights. Business Class passengers traveling on Hong Kong Airlines, or Fortune Wings Club Platinum, Gold, and Silver members can enjoy a VIP lounge called Club Bauhinia. Located near Gate 23, Terminal 1 at Hong Kong International Airport, Club Bauhinia can accommodate up to 120 passengers at a time. A wide range of facilities including iMac computers, WiFi internet access, and a wide range of international newspapers and magazines are available for passengers. Passengers can also enjoy a delightful buffet of local meals such as egg puffs, soya beancurd dessert, Hong Kong milk tea, and steamed rice sets.
There are two styles of Hong Kong Airlines flight attendant uniform. Female flight attendants wear a purple long blazer matched with a purple knee length skirt. There is also a set of a purple dress with front buttons and red accents. To complete the look, female flight attendants are also required to wear a red scarf on their neck, black stockings, and black shoes. Meanwhile, male flight attendants wear a three-layer suit. The first layer consists of a long white shirt and a red tie, followed by a vest, and a purple blazer as their outer piece. Male flight attendants also wear black trousers and black shoes as parts of their uniform.
