The central location was good and within walking distance of the beach area. Everyone was very nice and helpful.

Iris was lovely and helpful! The staff was knowledgeable, courteous, and very fluent in English, as well as many other languages. It was a lavish stay in the heart of scenic durres at an incredibly cheap price. The breakfast was amazing, the rooms clean and sumptuous. I will be back and everyone should come here.

When I first arrived in Durres, I stayed at the Sun Hotel (on the plazh side of Durres). There, the hotel and surrounding areas were not pleasant, so I assumed Durres was an un-pleasant city. Then, I relocated to Hotel Veliera. My opinion of Durres completely changed. The Hotel Veliera staff were so kind, the daily breakfast was exquisite (and such a cute breakfast area), and the location was PERFECT! I highly recommend!!

Great hotel with super friendly service. Breakfast was great given the price of the room. Staff always willing to help and amazing locations. My few negatives would be that there is no elevator and the room is a bit on small side. As general would come back anytime, great value for money.

Very clean hotel with breakfast, the room had a view on the sea. The staff is really helpful and the hotel has a great location near the centre and the port.

The hotel is steps away from all major sights in Durres and the beachfront. Great service by dedicated staff. My only complaint was about the bathroom - no shower curtain which caused a minor flood everytime I showered and no heating in bathtoom either which was an issue in January

Awesome location near the heart of the town with lots or restaurants and the ocean nearby. Delicious breakfast also!

Pros: friendly staff; newly and nicely renovated and very clean. Con: minimal breakfast choices; no bedside lamp; no chair to sit on balcony; very noisy location, at night loud music on street until midnight and construction early in the morning. No blackout curtains. Terrible night sleep.

We arrived at 3 am the day before our check in date. We were quickly accommodated for the night . He carried our back up a flight of steps. Piper tus well maintained and in the heart of town. One block from the seaside walkway . Very nice staff . Breakfast basic but well tended to. Held our luggage at departure The front desk agent made sure we were on the taxi at the right price to Tirana. Very nice stay.

Location fantastic, hotel is simple, clean, affordable and good comfort amenities. Negative they block foreign tv channels and if you are on top floor lots of steps.will stay again

My wife and I had a wonderful stay in the newly renovated hotel on the main street through Durres about a 10-minute walk from the ocean. The man at the reception (owner?) offered to move his car in front of the hotel in order for us to have a spot directly in front for unloading our car (street parking only), which we really appreciated. The room was very comfortable, and the breakfast simple but very good. We highly recommend a stay here. We were very well treated there. One note about the location. Google Maps did not help us as it placed the hotel next to the mosque "at the top" of the street when in fact it was right at the beginning "at the bottom" of the street. There is some road construction going on in the area right now so I don´t know how things will end up but if things remain the same, then the hotel is immediately on your right when you turn on to the street of the hotel and not several hundred meters later up near the mosque.

Hotellet har bra centralt läge. Tyvärr kunde mannen ingen engelska alls men det löste sig ändå. Den enda parkering som fanns var den allmänna längs gatan så begreppet ”gratis parkering” är lite tveksamt då. God frukost.
