Nice hotel - oldie but goodie. It would be nice if they had something besides artery clogging carbohydrates at the breakfast. How about protein and fat? Bacon and eggs?

The Hotel Francia is in an excellent position, very, very central for both eating and shopping. It seems like Hotel Francia is prejudiced against what they call " voucher " bookings. " Voucher " includes hotel.com bookings. Result ? You will be allocated the old rooms, the noisy rooms on the first floor. You also need to argue for your " free " breakfast.

This is an excellent hotel. It is only one block from the main square, Plaza Independencia, and is convenient for shops, restaurants and all the sights. The room I stayed in was a good size and very clean with a comfortable bed. There is a free minibar with water and soft drinks. The breakfast is excellent and served in a pleasant room. The staff make sure everything is well stocked. I have been touring Argentina and Uruguay and this is the best hotel I have stayed in so far, but is one of the least expensive.

Great little hotel in a fantastic location, two blocks away from the Government house. Make sure to get the Master Rooms and not the Standard. The standard room is like a 2 1/2 star hotel vs. the Master room is 3 1/2, with complimentary sodas and water in the fridge. I switched rooms for an extra $5.00. It's worth it. The breakfast was just ok... No biggie. I liked the coffee and croissants better near the plaza.

I hated it. I made a reservation. I arrived to the hotel in the middle of the night, around 5 am, after a lengthy bus ride. They could not find my reservation. Then they charged me a early check in fee. What? According to the reservation, I had already paid for the room through 10 am. The early check in fee was the same as the amount I paid for the whole reservation. Just to be clear, I paid the early check in fee and I paid the reservation on hotels. com. After paying double the room's rate, I was allowed to sleep in a dingy room for 5 hours, then I had to check out. Let me also mention the metal bars on the windows. When I checked out I asked to speak to management, but whoever that was was unavailable. Stay here for a headache and the authentic expensive prison experience. Stay at the Gran premier instead if you like peace of mind.

The hotel had my reservation and check in went smoothly. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The room was quiet for my sleeping. The internet was easy to access and worked well. The breakfast was very good with an assortment of rolls. I needed to print out a hotel confirmation and the evening manager was very helpful. I would stay here again due to the location, the staff and the quality of the room.

Argentina is slowly getting ready for international tourism at the middle class level. The hotel was marked a three stars, but the building is yet to be updated to the international standards. It needs to be updated to facilitate the access for disabled or seniors, the only one elevator is small. The room was clean, the bathroom had the tiles updated, there was an air-conditioning unit in the room, no fridge, the beds were very comfortable. I was very pleased with the service, from check-in to check-out. We were requested to fill out a survey to give input regarding how can they be better. The location of the hotel is excellent, one block away from the historical house of Tucuman, and two from the main square and shopping. Tucumanians are very friendly. We felt safe walking around. We really enjoyed our stay.

It is correct for a short overnignt stop, considering the very limited choices in downtown Tucuman. The staff was very courteous. Jean-Francois C.

Cerquita de la Casa de Independencia y lugares de interés. Es un hotel antiguo remodelado; lo único por lo que a instalaciones no le dimos excelente es porque las tuberías deben mejorarse en duchas e inodoros. Por lo demás perfecto! Volveremos con gusto!
