Attention to detail was great with furnishings/bedding/towels Could do with more food options on dinner menu. Can get loud from restaurant below. But manageable

It’s a nice hotel. Smart and very clean. Staff friendly and helpful but restaurant service was on the slow side and we thought some of the food items were expensive

Absolutely LOVED everything about our stay here - from the friendly and accommodating staff (Maggie, Charlotte, Helena just to name a few) to the lovely room to the delicious breakfast….and the little things such as the turndown service with yummy chocs and the unexpected Christmas gifts left on our beds took this hotel to a level that we have only experienced at a handful of hotels in our 52 years of life - and I have travelled a lot. Can’t wait to return!

Stayed for 4 nights with my partner and 2year old toddler for my birthday celebration. Greeted with smiles and was phoned to check all was okay as we flew in from Melbourne and had a delayed flight to G.C Arrived & we were Wowed on entry, beautiful Xmas decorations and very beautiful looking and simplistic entrance. Everything was explained efficiently and when we arrived at our room we were again greeted with a lovely bottle of bubbles for my birthday and a gorgeous room. From the layout to the bed and the well thought out bathroom. Super clean and tidy and fresh smelling. If you’re looking for attention to details Hotel Marvel is perfect for you. Sizable balcony, breakfast and coffee on point. Literally they have thought of it all. Parking too. Definitely recommend and will be back here! Thank you to Hotel Marvell for a Fantastic stay! Beautiful

The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. Upon entering the reception area you are greeted with a lovely scent. The hotel is very well styled and decorated. The room was lovely and stocked with everything you need, even had a welcome cocktail! We chose the breakfast option which was great value for money. The pool was lovely however, there was an awful smell wafting over the recliner seats. Possibly from the ventilation pipes for the sewage. For a 4 star hotel I have some minor points - the control panels beside the bed were very bright at night - there was a large gap under the door to the balcony which let a lot of light through next to the bed and the loud sound from the restaurant below - the bed base didn’t seem secure and moved every time we rolled over. So for us the bed wasn’t very comfortable unfortunately. - there were slamming doors at 6:30am. Not sure if this was from another room, or maybe the staff using the store room, but it was very loud. I would recommend ear plugs and an eye mask if the sound and light might be something to keep you awake. Very minor point and overall an enjoyable and relaxing time at Marvel.

This is among the best of the hotels I've stayed in. I stayed for three nights and would have loved to be there for longer. Hotel Marvell's rooms are absolutely beautiful, and beautifully designed, each with a balcony with some of the comfiest chairs I've relaxed in, in a while. The staff are lovely and the breakfasts were excellent. The hotel is maybe 7-10 mins from the beach and close to a ton of stores and shops (incl BayLeaf and the Book Room) but also slightly (maybe half a block) removed so it doesn't feel at all frenetic. Highly recommend and would def stay here again if I found myself back in Byron Bay.

This was the first time I’ve stayed at Hotel Marvell and it’s easily now my favourite hotel I’ve been to and I can’t wait to return. The rooms are stunning and so perfectly clean. Bed and linen is so comfortable and fresh. Absolutely nothing bad I could say about this property and it is absolutely worth the price.

Marvell was one of the best hotels we ever stayed in. Great rooms, service, location, and overall atmosphere. Can highly recomend this hotell!
