Exceptionally clean and well layed out villa. Perfect for family and has everything we needed. We’ll be back!

Reasonable for the price but need bigger ceiling fan over the shower not window to prevent mould on the ceiling in bathroom. You could smell the mould. Not very healthy.

The rooms were modern, clean and comfortable. The property beautiful. The provision of clean bathmats would have appreciated as there were three people to our room and soaking after we showered. The restaurant menu lacked choice and the coffee was cold when it arrived at the table. The staff were wonderful, pleasant and helpfull despite how busy they were. Our stay at The River was very enjoyable and affordable, worth coming back to when visiting Margaret River again. Thank you.

Its not Crown Towers. It is country town hotel/motel. Very clean. Close to town centre. Very friendly staff at reception. Would recommend as its value for money especially for Margaret River

Sprawling accommodation with restaurant and liquor store on the edge of town. Clean and reasonably modern with friendly staff. Worth a visit.

We had no idea how big the property is until we arrived. It was wildly busy (holiday weekend) and we thought we might have made a mistake. It turned out great. By 1030 it was completely quiet. Our room was large with everything we needed. It's a bit tired in places but the linens were excellent and everything was very clean. We didn't miss having daily housekeeping; we were given an extra towel just by asking. It is a 7-10 minute walk to shops and restaurants. The take-out cafe one block away, WEST, has the best coffee so far.

Nice big room, but very little to fill the space furniture wise. Old, a bit shabby but ultimately comfortable. We were only sleeping in it really so it didn't make a huge difference.

The accommodation was as described. However, the River Restaurant let us down with our dinner reservation with not reserving the specific window table requested by not putting our name on the table. They did not ask the people sitting there to move, but relegated us to the back of the restaurant next to the ever opening & closing kitchen door.

The villa we had was nice, can't complain about that. We stayed 2 nights, first night there was a band playing and the 'music' was extremely loud and went on until almost midnight. Even the windows were vibrating. Found it very hard to sleep. The next morning we woke to no water in the villa at all. Couldn't have a shower or make a coffee. Called the on duty manager, who was half asleep and not very helpful at all, was told the whole complex was out. I asked if it was a planned outage and when it would be turned back on, She said she didn't know. We were not offered any remedy, even a bottle of water to brush our teeth would have helped. Second night again the music was loud but a better choice of music and it went off at 10.30. Woke up to smashed glass in the driveway. They have the cheek to put in their welcome brochure that excessive noise will not be tolerated. Good one. If you want a nice peaceful stay in Margaret River, choose somewhere else.

Amazing establishment, such a great family vibe, staff were amazing nothing was to much trouble, ( including keeping my 6yr olds rubber ducks safe until we got back to collect! )

Everything was really good but there was no air con in the bedroom so it got warm some nights.
