Moe Motor Inn

Have stayed before, and stayed again this time, and would stay again. This tells you something. It's not anything flash, but it is 'clean' and comfortable. Ample off street parking. Reception was open this time, last time I used the self check in screen just to the left of the office (which also has a help number if needed). The location is good too, 3 min walk to the Moe railway Station & Moe Pub. Good pizza place 3 min walk, plus you can cross over the railway line into the main town area. All very easy. If you are looking for a reasonable cost motel in Moe, STAY HERE !

The check-in procedure was excellent, with the key being held in a secure 'hole in the wall' that was released when a credit card was swiped for the $100 refundable deposit. The lady I spoke to about my booking was very polite, accommodating in her phone manner and was very helpful. I initially stayed 2 nights, but after I checked out I decided to stay one more night. I rang reception and was told the room I had the previous 2 nights would be held for me. I was disappointed that the only 'servicing' of the room was that fresh towels were provided; the bins were still full, a used coffee cup was still on a bench and no cleaning had been done. My main negative observation was how dated the room was. The carpet was worn and the bathroom was badly in need of updating. On the positive side, the room was quiet and peaceful, the shower was excellent, with heaps of water pressure and it was easy to stream YouTube to the TV. The tariff was very reasonable and the quality of the room was inline with my expectations for the cost.

I coouldn't find anything to complain about. Big shower. Big bathroom. Plenty of Room. Clean. One point off for Nescafe coffee instead of Moccona.

Great accomodation for a great price. Very neat and tidy, walking distance to everything. We had the family room and it had everything we needed.

Staff were nice and helpful

I've stayed at this motel a few times before and I usually find it difficult to check in but this time it was very easy. The key to easy check in is to supply your credit card details to the operator beforehand. One good thing was that the Test Cricket was on the Fox while I was there and I was able to watch for an hour before I went out without having to deal with the adfest on the commercial channel. I was out between six and nine thirty and when I returned it was still on. How good is that? Everything else was fine; the shower was hot and strong; the tea bag tea was refreshing and the bed comfortable. What else could you want?
