Great stay Stylish room, fantastic ensuite Love the decor. Food in bistro was great, cocktails and beer. What more could you ask for!

With what feels like a very recent renovation, the room was compact but so eloquently furnished. Comfortable bed. Cool art.

Clean and quiet accommodation with walkable distance from public transport. It was the perfect stay for my business trip.

Old world charm

Lovely old hotel away from the busy areas but within such easy reach by tram or by walking. Staff are always friendly and obliging and are a credit to the management. If visiting Melbourne Uni or one of the medical facilities or the AO it is an excellent choice.

this is a very simple hotel which is very comfortable very central but don't expect the whole lot of extras or unnecessary staff. You get a very comfortable stay at a place which is so convenient.

Room was clean and comfortable, and good value. There is a bit of noise generated from the Pub/Restaurant, and the busy street location. However, the same street provides great transport access, and the restaurant is fabulous. I ate there twice over 3 nights. Food and service was terrific. All staff encountered were very friendly. I'd certainly stay again.

Very easy to recommend

Liked location for access to hospital and thought food offering was very good Room we had was loud. No hair dryer or ironing board in room........ but thre was a central supply, just had to track them down

Great stay. Modern, clean and comfortable. Tram stop right outside and easy access to Melbourne CBD. Staff very helpful.

Noisy

Great pub to stay in on a quick visit to Melbourne. Had a very good steak in the restaurant.

Lovely friendly staff with excellent service attention

Wonderfully friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean room, excellent bathroom facilities, good to have WiFi, fridge and kettle. Saturday night was pretty noisy (quiz night followed by live musicians) but otherwise fine. Great regular tram route 19, really good 7-day cafe two blocks away.

Neat clean convenient

Didn't notice on the website that there were only stairs and no lift. Would have appreciated the knowledge before booking as i had a very heavy piece of luggage.
