Advertised as a smoke free environment, however on entering to check in a strong smell of cigarette smoke was immediately noticed. In the accommodation area a smell of smoke from the hotel area was noticed along with cigarette smoke smell in the bedding linen, pillows, curtains. There were people smoking in the gaming area and at the bar.

Staff very helpful and the beer was great. We found the room well appointed and clean. Very comfortable bed. It would be really good if there was a bench to place your bathroom items on in the bathroom and in shower area. A hook for your towel in the shared bathrooms and in the rooms. Plus extra towels and soap.

I had room 19. #Toilet being unstable lose on the socket, shower head + sink tab lose, wardrobe is falling apart, drawers unusable. Location + bistro are convenient! Didn’t like the smoking in the bar facilities, unpleasant + unhealthy.

Room was basic but clean, well decorated and comfortable with excellent aircon, TV. The bathroom was clean and in good condition, just lacked a shelf in the shower and a towel rail or hook on the door. It was queen bed so 4 small bath towels, a shower mat would have been nice, instead had to use a towel on the floor. Make sure you pack everything when you leave... I left behind a dual headed fast phone charger...I called later the day I left but it had mysteriously disappeared. Disappointing on the staff front. The bistro is very good and reasonably priced. I had a steak with mash and veg... $35 which is good value compared to many places. Had the charger been handed in I would rate the hotel higher.

Clean Room, friendly staff, competitive price, good location and plenty of parking on site. The only let down was the amount of noise from people walking down the corridor at odd hours during the night which let to a disturbed sleep. Apart from that all was good.

Room was nice, for the price, seemingly renovated recently. Shared bathrooms were modern and clean. A hook closer to the shower would be more convenient. Staff were all lovely. The only issue with the room is that the hallway is connected to the pokies, and many patrons were smoking inside. It left a lingering smell, and made it very uncomfortable for us to walk through
