Super central. Clean room. Comfy bed. Our room had a window to the internal courtyard and the curtain was a bit too short of the window width. So the light beamed in until late late when the bar closed. Would choose a room on other side of hallway if possible. Or wear an eye mask.

Nice experience overall - great location, clean and modern rooms. Noise wasn’t bad even though it’s in a busy part of town. Only downside is that the showers don’t have a door so the water spreads easily into the rest of the bathroom even with a bathmat. Happy with my stay.

we are return guests. check in was terrific friendly and efficient. hotel was again very pleasant to return to. downside toilet seat was broken - cleaners clearly not choosing to have it repaired. We let reception guy know when we checked out. Stains/marks on the desk chair.

Fabulous place to stay in Newcastle. Clean, quirky, friendly staff, great food, fantastic location. Light rail stop is right outside the hotel, lots of restaurants nearby and Civic Theatre is a 10min walk down the road. We’ve stayed here a few times and love it.

Elegantly cool.
A truly lovely stay at this centrally located gem. The room was beautiful, with charming, quirky interiors that gave the hotel so much character. The staff were attentive and welcoming throughout my stay. The bed was extremely comfortable, dressed in luxurious linen, making for a great night’s sleep. The supply of tea, coffee and bottled water was a nice touch. The courtyard bar is stunning and a perfect spot for dining or enjoying a drink. Highly recommended.

I love staying at The Lucky!. The staff are excellent, always happy to assist and always cheerful.
The rooms are great, especially for pub accommodation, and there is a nice lively restaurant in the central atrium.
Location is perfect.
