Given the cost of everything at Uluru, the outback Hotel represents good value. The staff were friendly. Generally, the rooms were pretty good and we would happily stay there again.

A tidy, if basic hotel. Lacking a restaurant for dinner (walked a few hundred meters to the Deserted Gardens Htl). Ridiculously priced, but I guess if you own all the competition you can charge what you like.

Bugs galore! We killed flies, mosquitoes and other flying bugs half the night the first night. And again on every night! Our room near dripping water which probably made bugs worse but we saw housekeeping leaving doors open for hours while they cleaned. Food options were minimal and very expensive! I asked about microwave and was told there was none I could access. On last day, found out there was one in campground.

I thought it was a 3 star hotel or something. Even I paid around $500 per room per night, I didn't see the value for the money. Too exsy. I wished to have a bath tub for the price.
