One of the most beautiful locations in Europe. Excellent hotel, and just the right distance from Salzburg. I’ve stayed at least 10 times. Highly recommended!!!

The front desk lady receptionist was very friendly and helpful to offer to hold our luggage until check-in at 3 pm. The hotel is unassuming to find out that the dinner was great and our waiter, Lucas was very friendly and personable. Most people were speaking Austrian and/or German but communication with Lucas was transparent because he spoke English so well. Breakfast was very good and clean with very prompt service. The only thing I would ask to improve is to have portable air conditioning units installed. The one in the room was a stand up vertical fan. I would come back and recommend others to this hotel!

The breakfast was great. The bed and room were clean. While the room felt a little dated, they had the best wooden shoe horn! Reception staff were helpful. The location is great for the mountain cable car, which is totally worth doing, especially if you have the Salzburg pass.

Great location for visiting Salzburg. Short bus ride on very frequent buses from a two minute walk away. Several good restaurant‘a in the village. The hotel was nicely appointed the room was good and the breakfast was plentiful. The staff performed their duties but didn’t go the extra mile. We expected more service for what we were charged.

Great location for a few days in the Salzburg area. Bus into central city left frequently and to a cheap price. Free parking around the property. Next to the Untersberg cable car. Good food and understanding of gluten free.

The location of this superlative hotel is astounding. The air, the breezes, the sunshine…it’s worth a journey in itself. Lovely staff, great breakfast, and a bus stop 2 minutes away into town. A . Go!!!
