Quirky but clean and comfortable hotel with friendly staff. The food in the restaurant is excellent. Could be improved if the rooms had a refrigerator and better ventilation - it was summer when we visited and the rooms remained warm at night.

Nice stop over at this clean and nice hotel. The beds were comfortable,the breakfast was good. Even though we arrived late the service was great. Excellent hotel for the price. A small parking fee was requested. Nice and quiet location.

The property is in excellent condition with very clean rooms and convenient o the Salzburg Airport (away from city center and all the congestion that goes with a major tourist location). The pool and multiple types of saunas were a pleasure after long days of work and touring downtown area. the complimentary breakfast was excellent and staff very helpful, speaking excellent English!

It was around 10pm when we arrived. Nobody was at the reception and the entrance was locked. One of the quests opened the door for us. Finally found the receptionist. We reserved a double bedroom but he gave two single beds. That was a problem for our baby. We have asked an extra blanket for the baby but he didn't offer. I don't recommend this hotel.

I have just arrived at this hotel in Austria after driving a long way most of the day.
Firstly the hotel must be near animal farms as the smell when we got out of the car and into the exception was overwhelming. No mention of this in the reservation.
The room had pillows with no cases on them and the fridge is not working.
I had to go to reception three times as they don’t answer their phone at reception.
The pillows were replaced with covers on them. Thankyou.
The fridge not working? Well they just offered me ice and said nothing can be done today.
I asked for the manager/or owner but they aren’t here. I asked for their emails and was told no. I asked for their phone numbers and was told no.
This is unacceptable for a room that is considered a four star hotel. The receptionist was very unhelpful and kept going away from the desk to do something else. I’m not happy with this kind of reception.. reception? We didn’t receive any. However at Breakfast the following morning the lovely Jade couldn’t do enough for us. She is an Italian young lady who knows how to be hospitable to the guests. She was calm and friendly and made us omelettes to order. Couldn’t do enough. A very different experience from the receptionist who pretended to understand English and would respond to our questions with a completely unrelated answer!
Where shall we park? No. restaurant is closed today. What the?
After we left I wrote to give them an opportunity to make good. But no response!

Who builds a hotel next to a dairy farm and doesn't put in air conditioners? It was warm in June, but we couldn't cool off the room by opening the windows because of the strong smell of cows. Also, the pool and sauna area are locked and staff aren't available on Monday evenings. Just a few unexpected things for us, if you go in with eyes open, you'll be in great shape.

The hotel is in the outskirts of Salzburg, a 15 minute drive to the city center. The location is not bad because it does provide peace and quiet not found in the city center. There were flies everywhere, in the spa area, in the rooms, all over the breakfast, could not get away from them. The spa and indoor pool were the only good thing about this hotel but you could not sit for a second without flies landing all over you, not a good feeling when trying to relax. The room was spacious and comfortable but there was no coffee maker nor water boiler as is tipically found in hotels a lot less expensive than this. We were charged extra for coffee the first day we arrived and then were told their coffe machine was broken the next day when we sat down for breakfast. This is my fourth trip to Salzburg and would recommend a hotel closer to the city center if you want to make your trip more enjoyable. I am glad I found a place to sleep but wpuld not stay here again and I will return to Salzburg this summer. Good Luck!

Staff did not seem friendly. Not sure they had met black people before!!!!! Our room faced the sunny side. It was over 100c degress when we arrived. No one had bothered to close the curtains in the room to keep the sun /heat out. It was like an oven. Matters worse NO AIRCON!!!!!. We didn't bother to complain as the lady who checked us in did not seem happy to have seen us!!!!!!!!!!!Her body language.
Next room occupant was smoking in the balcony. Smoke could be smelt in our room. We wanted a non smoking room.
Food was VERY EXPENSIVE in the restaurant plus room were over priced!!!!!!!!!!
Will we visit again.....A BIG NO!
