ibis Styles Wien Messe Prater

While the room cleanliness was good and staff were generally nice, the garage was an absolute nightmare. While the do mention in the beginning, I was able to get in but getting out steep uphill was an absolute nightmare, causing damage to the rental car and requiring towing with roadside assistance because of slippery uneven flooring. There’s so much damage along the walls from the turn and the cushion material has been ripped off. And otherwise pleasant stay became a nightmare. I just don’t understand how Ibis does not address this, considering international visitors may not have experience with such conditions arriving exhausted from 20+ hour travel. I specifically stated there because of the parking garage (per ChatGPT recommendation). What’s the point of going off site in public parking blocks away? Would be nice if this caveat is added to the amenity features before people book. I have visited many parts of Europe and had not come across parking garage turn this bad.

I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Ibis Styles! The property is walking distance to major attractions and the facilities are very comfortable and well maintained. Perfect stay for this solo traveler! I will look for Ibis Hotels for future travel within Europe!

Great location. The property was clean. The elevator to the top floors was very helpful. The room was quiet. The bar on the main floor was lively and noisy with young modern vibe.

The hotel staff is helpful and friendly. The room was clean. They could have topped up coffee pods, but they didn't.

Great hotel for the price, had everything we need for a comfortable stay. Away from the centre but okay with public transport.

Hotel very well located. A few minutes walk to the train station and you can get to anywhere easily. Tram stop almost in front of the hotel. Shops near by. Room was clean. Bedding perfect. Would recommend.

I did not stay as the trip had to be cancelled, however tried to contact the hotel to get a ‘No Show’ letter as requested by travel insurance provider. There was no response received from the hotel management to my email/messaging nearly 3 weeks passed by!

The 1st room hada wet room with blocked drains.The 2nd was basic but had an excellent shower

I had a pleasant stay at ibis Styles Wien Messe Prater. The room was clean and tidy; quiet; and a good value for money. I would have appreciated having tea&coffee making facilities in the room and a slightly bigger choice of hot food at breakfast.

Our room was clean and tidy, service was great, no complaints!

We usually use this hotel while in transit through Austria, and we love it. No frills but always clean and comfortable. However this time around, we found the room was not swept properly, the floors were not clean and there were some stains on the bedsheets. The temperature in the room was also very cold, being winter, but we couldn’t get the thermostat to actually work. We had a disappointing stay this time around.

The location of this property is ideal if you don’t mind taking a 30 minute walk to the main attractions like St. Stephen Cathedral and the main shopping area. The staff service was great, I did not have the breakfast but the other guest seem to enjoy as it was full every morning.

Clean room. But there is no minibar or small fridge to put drinks in.

Was great to stay in check in was simple and easy, but…. I had not checked out, and was about 45mins till i needed to check out, and the cleaner knocked once then walked in. I was literally just out the shower and had to dash to the door with a towel. :(
