The Ibis hotel was great for us. We didn't try the breakfast because we thought it was too expensive. The room was great, although having the shower in the center of the room was a little awkward, and it would have been nice to have a door that actually latches on the room with the toilet instead of just a swinging door. For the most part our stay was comfortable and good.

Pretty basic (what we wanted). Very good value (what we wanted). Large car park right next to it (£6.33/7 euros for 24 hours). A short walk to the very centre of Bruges. Right next to the train/bus station if you wanted to travel anywhere else whikst staying here. Very friendly, helpful staff. Very happy with the choice of hotel.

Very basic accommodation but quite adequate. Buffet breakfast good. Adjacent to the train station...an advantage when having to cart baggage along cobbled streets. Easy walk into the city centre.

Very basic hotel and breakfast, the only good thing is close to Bruges Train Station. Unlike other stations, there is no decent place to eat. The escalators to the hotel were not working. We had to drag our luggage up many flights of stairs. The room was so small that we couldn’t fully open our mid-size luggage. The walls were not sound proof, could hear clearly next room talking. If we have a chance to come back to Bruges, we would stay there again.

Easy check in, the receptionist was lovely and got us extra pillows when we asked. Parking convenient in the multi-storey. Easy walk into Bruges itself, or public transport available on the doorstep. Clean room, comfy bed, great shower! Only niggle was the window doesn't open much so the room was hot on a 23° day (air con didn't work either). Basic (no kettle and shower is right next to the bed, but you know that on booking) but will do for a short stay as just somewhere to sleep!

A child only has a blanket. The bed isnt made for you before you arrive. The sheets were dirty and the childs blanket had hair all over it. I complained and received fresh ones. I do not think its right to just have a thin well washed bobbly blanket for a child. Breakfast not great.

Breakfast was basic. Rooms were teeny tiny- shower in the room! It was insanely HOT in the hotel. Unbearably hot. Halls were a sauna/ very uncountable to sleep. Had to make a deposit for hairdryer. Towels were small, old & scratchy. Very basic! Location was close to station and 10-15 min. Walk to old town.

Great budget hotel for a single person or for no more than one night for a couple. Rooms are tiny with little storage, hanging space, or room for your luggage. I got yelled at the whole stay by my travel companion because of the tiny room -- but as a solo traveler it would be fine. Best part is being adjacent to the Bruges Central Train Station, as well as a grocery store and several fast food options.

Unfortunately, my stay was not as expected. The room didn’t feel as clean as it should have, and the bed sheets were not changed during my stay, they were simply re-made each day. There was also no kettle in the room for tea or coffee, which feels like a basic amenity, even for a budget hotel. Breakfast was the biggest let down. At £12 per day, the selection was extremely limited. Mainly breads, ham and cheese, two cereal options, and other dry items. It definitely wasn’t worth the price. You can literally walk outside to the train station and get a much better breakfast from nearby waffle shops or Starbucks for less money. Staff were polite and helpful but overall the experience didn’t meet expectations for what I paid.
