Great place to stay for carnival

Staff was very professional and accommodating

We stayed at the Hilton Barra for our honeymoon and it was magnificent! From our very first encounter, the staff was friendly, welcoming and accommodating. They even went above and beyond by gifting us with a small surprise and hand written note in our room. The beds were comfortable, and the breakfast was a fantastic bonus. I highly recommend you choose Hilton for all of your special occasions.

The best of the 4 hotels we stayed in during our visit to Rio. The only one that wasn’t full of mosquitoes ☺️ lovely rooftop pool made it feel like a holiday vs hostel.. good air conditioning too.

The service was AMAZING! The staff were so welcoming and caring and I definitely would come back! A bit far from most activites and famous spots such as ipanema and Copacobana but still a nice place to stay.

Nice hotel the food was nice and my room was clean. The staff was friendly. I would definitely recommend for solo traveler.

Really good bed

The room was immaculate and super clean. Noise level was low. The room had everything we needed. Every hotel staff member was professional, extremely curious and did an excellent job. We loved the bar, restaurant, pool and rooftop lounge. Couldn’t be happier with our stay. The front desk reception was helpful in every way. Can’t wait to go back! Thank you!!!

Staff was inexistent or inefficient. The elevators couldn't meet the needs of the occupation. At breakfast tables weren't properly set. No concierge or bellboy services. And security was definitely an issue: it wasn't in place and there were criminals assaulting a family and taking their SUV just in front of the hotel on Jan 20th. Scary movie.

This hotel has exceptional service from every encounter with the staff. Everyone here is polite and courteous. Very helpful with anything you need and recommend anyone to stay at this Hilton

First let me start by saying the room service was extremely fast. The room had a damp smell to it that would not leave even after room service. We stayed for 7 days and 2 if the days the rooms air conditioning was my working. When asked for the front desk to send someone they didn't send anyone the first night so we were a bit warm. Rio is normally around 90 degrees so we required air in our room. We aren't used to the extreme heat. Our room was 80 degrees. They did however resolve the issue. The hotel did not provide water to the guest and everything was at cost except the breakfast. Breakfast was just okay, I was able to find something to eat but my wife had a harder time and we ended up going to the mall in the morning to grab food to eat. So, they get a 3 star from us.
