This is the most stunning Pousada ever. Simply to die for. Excellent breakfast, the team were wonderful, attentive, friendly and mostly importantly kind and caring. Thank you all for taking such genuine care of us all. We fell in love with this pousada and Paraty. What a place!!

Nice spot, generally. Beautiful gardens and flowers. Clean, quiet and comfortable for the price. The only thing I was disappointed by was the restaurant on site -- skip it. There are some good places to eat nearby.

There's some very small things that could significantly improve the experience. In my case: the TV asks for a code which is not available anywhere. The shower has a heater with exposed wires and it starts smoking after some time; this is HIGHLY dangerous and the installation doesn't look safe at all. Not enough power outlets. One of the bed lamps burned out.

The hotel is like a little resort with beautiful gardens. Each room has a hammock outside and there’s a very peaceful feeling to it. The bed was super comfortable (more comfortable than certain 5stars hotels I stayed in) and the pool is nice and clean, facing the water. The staff was very helpful with finding good restaurants. I highly recommend this hotel for the quality/price.

We were only at this hotel for a night while we stopped over on our road trip from Rio to Sao Paulo. We were very well received and the staff was friendly. The hotel itself is basic but charming. The location is great with a short walk to old town and even the nearby beach.
