It was a quick stay worth the location and food options around.

Good location for a great price, ofc you get what you pay for though.

Accommodated in different property ! Disgusting, no private bathroom , no safety, shady business, no receptionist to help you , bathrooms used by all people living in the building have no key to have privacy, no shower ,no toiletries or toilet paper , decorative pillows instead of normal pillows, beds uncomfortable.

Surly and uncomunicative staff, very untidy public areas. No proper lighting in stairwells. Old, tired building.

A pity toilet separatedfrom room

Our stay at Serdika Rooms was a disaster from start to finish. When we arrived, there was no one at reception to greet us, leaving us stranded with no assistance. The contact numbers provided were completely useless—none of them connected us to anyone who could help. In the end, it was other guests (who were also in a similar situation) who showed us the rooms, which were nothing like what we had booked. The accommodations were far below expectations and utterly disappointing. We decided to leave and stay at another hotel instead. When I returned to the hotel to try and resolve the matter, the staff member I spoke to falsely claimed that no payment had been taken. However, payment had clearly been processed. Since then, the hotel has refused to engage with booking platforms like Expedia or Hotels.com to issue a refund, which is a blatant violation of their policies. The service here is non-existent, the management is dishonest, and the entire operation feels incredibly unprofessional. Save yourself the stress and avoid this place entirely.

Second time I have stayed here. Different room both times. Its simple, very basic, but has everything you need. Remember this place is super cheap for a capital city and that's what you get, cheap reasonable accommodation. Yes the bathroom is separate but private nevertheless. Please don't expect ANY glamour. Yes it could do with a huge makeover.

OK, let's get things straight. This is a super cheap hotel in an excellent location in a capital city. SO, do not expect anything less than adequate having paid pennies for it. It says excellent as it says on the tin and the bad reviews are correct but out of context. I paid £24 in a capital city......bedroom was adequate and private bathroom (although seperate) was adequate. I stayed in room 6 and I would not feel safe leaving any valuable things in that room due to the door being shabby but still lockable. It has everything you need, towels, mirror, bed, shower sink, wardrobe. Yes, it could be cleaner, yes one of the towels was dirty and yes the general quality of everything is low......BUT it was £24 quid for 1 night for 3 beds and hot shower and easy check-in etc.......dont expect the Ritz and expect adequate. Anything more is a bonus. Genuine review.

Nothing positive about this hotel. Only the location is good.

As we read bad comments from this property and when we arrived, the room is big, WiFi is good, very easy to get metro(just a minute walk), to shopping street or going to attractions places. The negative points are that the property doesn't mention on the property information or on the confirmation that the property will e-mail the instruction how to get in and get the room key. We stood long time in front the hotel to find the way to get in or staff coming.there was no staff waiting at the reception. We were struggling to contact the agent to get the information and finally been told that we must check the e-mail which has been sent a couple hours before check-in time. Neighbour rooms may make noise and we can hear water from everyone showering. And last Expedia confirmed check out time at noon but 11.00am staff showed up and told us to leave.

The hotel was old and tired, fairly grubby, the bed was the hardest I’ve ever slept on. Bathroom was the same. I guess it was reasonable value for money for a capital city centre hotel though. The manageress was absolutely drop-dead gorgeous though, which made up for almost everything.

They overbooked my room and got my personal items out of the room and left them on the hallway until I got back in the afternoon. At night I had people waking into my room because they gave the keys to the other guest since they had overbooked the room.

After I made the booking for "Guest Rooms Heart of Sofia", I received a message from the hotel, that they will relocate me to one of their other properties "Italian House Hotel", which is not as central, and one metro station away from "Guest Rooms Heart of Sofia". The new location is still central enough and convenient. The room is VERY old, not maintained well and definitely could use a face lift. House keeping do a very good job, but the whole place is just too old. I guess this is why the price was as cheap as it was, so in terms of value for money, you probably get what you pay for, and that's fine by me. There's a kitchenette for the use of all the guests. and every morning a fresh croissant for all the guests. There's a supermarket right next to the hotel, and a metro station. Wi-Fi was OK. Staff VERY friendly and helpful!

La habitación hecha polvo, llena de suciedad, la puerta que se caía a pedazos. Una vergüenza.

The accomodation was really dirty and the lock on the door did not work. When we arrived to the room the room was unlocked and the door was open. The bathroom was on the hallway, which was not clear from the website. Also the “Hotel” was extremely hard to find, due to it being placed in the a sketchy alley.

1 sommier cassé, 3 prises électriques descellées du mur, rideaux déchirés, fenêtre qui ne ferme pas, serrure de porte fracturée qui laisse un grand jour tout autour de la porte avec lumière toute la nuit. Douche sans protection qui éclabousse le wc et lavabo. Rien à voir avec les photos des chambres indiquées sur le site. Ce n’est pas un hôtel mais des chambres au 2eme étage d’un immeuble. Le point positif : présence d’une Clim.

Het personeel hielp goed en was vriendelijk. Voor de rest geen positieve dingen. Zeer gehorig, slechte bedden, geen voorzieningen, koud, wel beschikking over een airco maar daar heb je weinig aan. Slechte badkamer met rottende kozijnen. Zou het van jullie site afhalen als ik u was.

It was a lovely room and in the city center of Sofia. Metrostation is right there and easy access to room. Only cold water in the shower.

Built in "bathroom" that was horrible. Air-conditioning didn't work & there was no remote control. Super loud! You could hear everything! People were sitting on front of our window the whole night & day! Bad was horrible! Old underwear on the radiator & a lot of dust. This is just a part! Not worth continuing
