Villa Florence

The hotel is brand new and therefore extremely clean and modern. However, they do have some teething problems. Our room's (which had never been stayed in before) electricity kept tripping and, as we had arrived late at night they decided to split us into 2 rooms for that first night. It took them all day the next day to sort out the problem which meant we couldn't really unpack and start our holiday properly until the next day. We then discovered that the living room / 3rd bedroom did not have any air conditioning and were provided with a floor fan instead. When we booked the room the description stated ALL rooms have balconys - ours didn't it was a lower ground floor room. It also said that there was a mini bar and safe in every room. These were also missing. The pool area was lovely - very quiet - plenty of sun beds every day and the restaurant served very good and reasonably priced food. One of the waiters in particular was very friendly, informative and helpful. On the whole the starting glitches did not spoil our holiday and hopefully given time these little things will be smoothed out. The hotel's location was very good with a bus stop just outside and a large supermarket just a short distance away. There were plenty of restaurants in the area to choose from. I would say, however, that there wasn't much information available on what to do in the area.
