Booked the hotel and called ahead to reserve a folding cot for a third person in the room. Was reassured it would be ready. When we showed up, the person at the desk denied the cot saying it wouldn’t fit in the room.
Bad communication.
When I called and spoke to the manager of the hotel, she was rude and combative blaming Expedia. When I gave the specific date and time I called the front desk, she seemed more personable. But it was a struggle.

We both felt that the matress was too soft, therefore we were not comfortable. Our room was situated over the open area of the breakfast and gathering area. As a result, it was very echo and we were easily awaken by noise.

How do you justify $250 a night for an average hotel room in Montreal? The room was clean and spacious with all the necessary features but that is too much to pay for one night's stay.
