GLOBALSTAY. Downtown Hamilton Apartments

A little tricky to get in, No one onsite, need to get key from unlabelled lock box. The couch/ bed is in poor condition. Overall good if u just need a place to sleep otherwise I’d rate it OK

Do NOT Book here - this company is terrible. After confirming our late arrival and making sure that we would be able to access the apartment multiple times, we were NOT able to access the apartment. 3 am and we are left outside in the pouring rain with an 8-month old baby because we couldn't access the building. 30 emails and multiple phone calls, the company is refusing to issue a refund stating that they were clear about the building access. I cannot recommend this company, I highly recommend AGAINST staying with this company.

Worst experience I've had in a long while. The check-in instructions were incomplete so I had to call for help when I needed into the parking lot. What a nightmare that was, on the phone I explained at least 3 times that the parking spots offered had cars already parked in them and that someone else let me in since I never received instructions to get in. I was told to find parking elsewhere and they would refund me for the parking that I paid extra for as well as reimburse me for the parking lot I had to use 1km away. When I walked back to the building and successfully guessed which lockbox had the apartment key and called customer service for the apartment number since that also wasn't in the instructions, I arrived to an apartment without WiFi and a drafty balcony door to go with the uncomfortable beds. Customer service was absolutely useless with getting the WiFi back up and didn't seems to care about it or anything else wrong with the apartment. Needless to say, I felt completely ripped off and gave them every opportunity to reimburse me but the best I could get was a refund for the parking and even getting that was like pulling teeth because I didn't take pictures of the cars in their spot, despite never being asked to. I can't ever recommend Global Stay to anyone I care about, the experience was miserable on all fronts and I can't believe I had to pay for it, stay literally anywhere else.
