The room was at best a 2 star. Noisy AC, terrible bed, no walk-in shower and no support bars for the elderly in the bathtub. There was coffee and tea bags but no coffee maker. My wife saw a bug in the room. After our 1st day of a 2 day stay we found out that our keys did not work so we had to get some new ones made. To make matters worst 2 other family members were transfered to the Victorin from the Travelodge because of over booking and they were assigned each a room on the 2nd floor and when we compared rooms we found that they had a walk-in shower with hold bars and a much more modern setting. Why were we assigned rooms on the ground floor and in much more runned down part of the Hotel. The bar was closed but they opened it only because we wanted to sit down and relax. The buffet breakfast was ok the 1st morning but terrible on the 2nd. Nothing seemed to be fresh. The only real good things were the coffee and orange juice. Upon check out I requested a receipt and they said that because it was booked through Expedia, that it was up to them to give us a receipt but they could email me one(which I did not receive). We were staying at this hotel because we were attending a funeral service which was held just a few minutes away and because of that, we were in no condition to start complaining. To sum up, we will never book another room at this 2 star hotel

It wasn’t as advertised in the pictures. Property is not luxurious as presented in the pictures and no room amenities. Complimentary breakfast was appreciated but for the room rate we paid, not worth it.

We were in Victoriaville for a funeral and appreciated the location and convenience of the hotel. The front desk were very helpful, especially one who retyped and printed a reading that we needed for the ceremony. Our room was a good size and comfortable. The breakfast was not great. Also our key card needed to be reset regularly.

Dès l’arrivée, une des deux chambres réservées avait une forte odeur de cigarette, ce que la réception a corrigé rapidement et sans problème. Toutefois, les deux chambres étaient situées dans la partie non-rénovée de l’hôtel qui ressemble plus à un vieux motel 2 étoiles qu’à un établissement 4 étoiles de la collection Ascend. Il n’y a aucune indication claire au moment de la réservation qu’il y a des chambres rénovées et non et le prix est le même ce qui est incompréhensible. Les chambres ont des salles de bains extrêmement vétustes avec des baignoires ayant des traces évidentes de moisissure au niveau des joints, des pommeaux de douche dépassés encrasses de calcaire sans ventilation. Le système de climatisation de la chambre est tout droit des années 80 et extrêmement bruyant. Une chambre avait un téléphone non fonctionnel l’autre le téléviseur brisé. Le tapis était ancien, les oreillers et matelas de piètre qualité. Le gym est lilliputien avec des équipements brisés. Déjeuner inclus correct. En bref, nous avons payé 250$ par chambre soit 600$ pour une nuit pour une expérience digne d’un motel 2 étoiles à 100$ la nuit, ce qui est très loin des attentes pour un hôtel « 4 étoiles » qui reçoit d’ailleurs des congrès accueillant des invités provenant de toute la province. Bien que le personnel ait été très courtois et serviable, cela n’est pas suffisant pour compenser le reste. Les chambres non rénovées devraient être moins chères que les rénovées.
